Moussa Cisse (ankle) will not return against Pelicans on Wednesday.

Marc Stein also reported that the Mavericks don’t believe the ankle injury is serious, but they’re being cautious and he will not be returning to the game. Even if healthy, Cisse isn’t likely to be a fantasy contributor this season unless there’s injuries to Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively.

Brayden Burries tallied 14 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in Friday’s exhibition against the Pacers.

Although he missed all four of his three-point attempts, Burries had a solid night overall in the Bucks’ preseason finale. It remains to be seen how much he’ll play once the regular season begins, as neither Gary Trent Jr. nor Caris LeVert was available for Friday’s game. However, with the Bucks rebuilding after trading Giannis Antetokounmpo, one would assume the team will prioritize giving Burries opportunities this season.

Myles Turner recorded seven points (3-of-9 FGs), 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal, three blocks and one three-pointer in Friday’s exhibition against the Pacers.

Turner didn’t do much scoring on Friday, but the rebounds and blocks were highly encouraging. Shot-blocking has rarely been an issue for the veteran center, but he was poor on the glass in his first season with the Bucks. If Turner can hit the glass consistently, that would do wonders for his fantasy value after a subpar 2025-26.

Tyler Herro finished Friday’s exhibition against the Pacers with 25 points (10-of-16 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and five three-pointers.

While the Pacers didn’t play their starters after halftime, Milwaukee’s starters did play in the third quarter. That made a huge difference for Herro, who dropped 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the third. By comparison, he shot 3-of-7 in the first half, scoring nine points. Milwaukee’s backcourt is a bit loaded, and not all of those players will be fantasy-relevant, but Herro should lead the way. If he stays healthy, a top-50 fantasy season wouldn’t be an unrealistic expectation.

Tyrese Haliburton amassed 17 points (7-of-14 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Friday’s exhibition against the Bucks.

Haliburton has looked incredibly sharp in the Pacers’ final two preseason games, which is great news for the team and for fantasy managers hoping to roster him. He played 20 minutes in the first half of Friday’s exhibition, led the Pacers in shot attempts and dished out six assists. Haliburton has delivered first-round fantasy value before, and his preseason finish suggests the star point guard is ready for a full workload after missing all of last season with a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Andrew Nembhard accounted for 11 points (5-of-8 FGs), seven assists and one three-pointer in Friday’s exhibition against the Bucks.

After spending last season (when healthy) serving as the Pacers’ primary playmaker, Nembhard will return to his usual role in 2026-27. While Tyrese Haliburton’s return will lower Nembhard’s usage rate, the more familiar role improves his fantasy outlook. In Friday’s preseason finale, Nembhard dished out seven assists without a turnover in 20 minutes. With T.J. McConnell (undisclosed) not guaranteed to be ready for the start of the regular season, Nembhard’s place in the rotation becomes even more important.

Pascal Siakam finished Friday’s exhibition against the Bucks with 24 points (8-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and five three-pointers.

The Pacers’ starters sat out after halftime of Friday’s exhibition, with head coach Rick Carlisle viewing the first half as a dress rehearsal for the regular season. Siakam looked sharp, knocking down 80 percent of his shots in 21 minutes. With Tyrese Haliburton back, the floor opens up for other Pacers mainstays, including Siakam. After his fantasy value took a hit last season while Haliburton recovered from a ruptured Achilles tendon, look for “Spicy P” to bounce back in a big way in 2026-27.

Ryan Conwell amassed 21 points (9-of-17 FGs), one rebound, seven assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Friday’s exhibition against the Magic.

Conwell is on a two-way contract, so his chances of becoming a reliable option in redraft leagues are slim. However, the Heat are light at point guard, as backup Dru Smith missed the preseason with an injury. Unless you’re competing in a 30-deep redraft league or a fantasy league, you won’t gain much by drafting Conwell. But managers competing in those formats should definitely consider him.

Andrew Wiggins posted 13 points (4-of-7 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, two steals and one three-pointer in Friday’s exhibition against the Magic.

Wiggins was one of three expected starters to play for the Heat in Friday’s preseason finale, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo were ruled out. He played 15 minutes in Orlando, capping what was a good preseason for the veteran wing. Wiggins shot a career-best 41.4 percent from three last season, and the addition of Antetokounmpo should open things up even more for him offensively. If Wiggins can hit threes at a similar clip this season, he should be a reliable fantasy option, regardless of league format.

Nikola Jović finished Friday’s exhibition against the Magic with 12 points (4-of-6 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two three-pointers.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo being scratched a few hours before tipoff, Jović started Miami’s preseason finale. He and the other starters didn’t play after halftime, but the young forward was solid in his 15 minutes on the floor. At best, Jović is worth considering in the later rounds of a draft. His viability as a fantasy option this season will depend on Antetokounmpo’s health.

Jabari Walker with 13 points (4-of-8 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, two steals in 19 minutes against the Celtics.

Jabari Walker has proven that he can play in an NBA rotation and he should have a role on this Philadelphia team. While Dean Wade will likely start when there’s injuries, Walker will still be important in deeper leagues as a consistent producer that will likely get a bump when there are injuries.
