The Clippers are said to be targeting guard Dan Dickau once his contract is bought out by the Knicks.
“We are having conversations with the Knicks,” said Mark Bartelstein, Dickau’s agent. “We are hoping to have something resolved.” The Clippers sent rookie Jared Jordan to the Knicks, as they feel Dickau can give them immediate assistance. Dickau is expected to be waived by the Knicks on Monday.

Chris Paul officially announced his retirement from the NBA after 21 seasons.
Paul was waived by the Raptors on Friday afternoon and shortly afterwards, took to Instagram to announce his official retirement, saying, “This is it! After over 21 years, I’m stepping away from basketball.” Paul had previously announced that this would be his final season, but then tensions flared with the Clippers earlier in the year, which led to his departure from the team. Paul was a 12-time All-Star, 11-time All-NBA point guard, five-time assists leader, nine-time All-NBA defensive team honoree, and two-time Olympic gold medalist with the United States men’s basketball team. He averaged 16.8 points, 9.2 assists, and 4.4 rebounds in his career and will undoubtedly be a Hall of Famer.
LeBron now NBA's oldest player with triple-double
Eric Samulski praises LeBron James for becoming the NBA's oldest player to record a triple-double in a win over the Mavericks, explaining the significance of the milestone and sharing a funny story about Austin Reaves.
  • LAL Forward #23
LeBron James had 28 points (10-of-12 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 10 rebounds 12 assists, one block and two three-pointers in the Lakers’ 124-104 victory over the Mavericks on Thursday.
James returned after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Spurs and became the oldest player in NBA history to record a triple-double against the Mavericks on Thursday. The 41-year-old small forward had 28 points to go with 10 rebounds and 12 assists. LeBron has provided 11th-round per game value over the last two weeks heading into the All-Star break.
  • UTA Forward #28
Brice Sensabaugh had 28 points (8-of-19 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), four rebounds and five three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Trail Blazers.
Sensabaugh hadn’t scored at least 28 points in a game since he dropped 43 points in a loss to the Bulls on January 14. The 22-year-old shooting guard played 34 minutes that night and 36 minutes against the Trail Blazers on Thursday. Sensabaugh is worth rostering if the Jazz decide to consistently play him that much during silly season.
  • POR Center #23
Donovan Clingan had 23 points (8-of-12 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), 18 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in Thursday’s win over the Jazz.
Clingan became the first Trail Blazer since Scottie Pippen in 2003 to have a game with at least 20 points, at least 15 rebounds, at least five assists and no turnovers. The 21-year-old center has provided second-round per game value over the last two weeks. Clingan looks like a great fantasy center for years to come.
  • POR Guard #5
Jrue Holiday had 31 points (10-of-15 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists and four three-pointers in the Trail Blazers’ 135-119 victory over the Jazz on Thursday.
Holiday’s 31 points in Thursday’s win over the Jazz were his most in a game since the 2023 season. The 35-year-old point guard was also just a rebounds and three assists away from a triple-double. While Holiday was able to turn back the clock against the Jazz, he’s provided just 11th-round per game value over the last two weeks heading into the All-Star break.
  • Oscar Tshiebwe (concussion protocol) won’t return to Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Tshiebwe had one rebound and three assists in five minutes off the bench before heading to the locker room. The 26-year-old center was ruled out with a concussion at halftime. Tshiebwe hasn’t been a factor in fantasy basketball this season.
  • UTA Guard #0
Vince Williams Jr. was ejected from Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Williams appeared to say the wrong thing to an official and was ejected in the first half of Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers. The 25-year-old shooting guard had six points in seven minutes prior to the ejection. John Konchar could be in line for more minutes with Williams unavailable. It’s unclear if he’ll face any further disciplinary action.
  • OKC Guard #11
Isaiah Joe had 17 points (5-of-11 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Bucks.
Joe continues to pick up some of the slack with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out. The 26-year-old guard has shown over the last six games that he’s not going to contribute much in the other categories, but he can provide 17 points and three three-pointers every night. Joe will have value as long as this arrangement and his solid play continue.
  • MIL Forward #9
Bobby Portis had 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), 12 rebounds, three assists, four steals and three three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Thunder.
Portis showed again Thursday why he leads all active bench players in double-doubles with 15 points and 12 rebounds in the win over the Thunder. The 31-year-old small forward seems to be over his hip injury. With the All-Star break approaching, Portis and the Bucks are off until Friday, February 20 against the Pelicans.
  • MIL Forward #21
Ousmane Dieng had 19 points (7-of-12 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, four blocks and three three-pointers in the Bucks’ 110-93 victory over the Thunder on Thursday.
Dieng has struggled to produce or see minutes consistently this season, but has flashed a high-ceiling in the last two games. The 22-year-old small forward followed up a 17-point performance in 23 minutes in the win against the Magic on Wednesday with a full stat line in the win over the Thunder on Thursday. Dieng had 19 points and was just four assists shy of a triple-double while also contributing on the defensive end with a steal and four blocks. He also made three three-pointers. The Bucks deciding to keep giving him more minutes could lead to more games like this in the future.
