Darryl Watkins followed up his 13-rebound night on Wednesday with just five minutes of action on Thursday against the Rockets.

Watkins had two points and no other stats, and needless to say he has no fantasy value.

Darius Acuff Jr. had 13 points (5-of-12 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), one rebound, two assists, one block and one three-pointer in Friday’s exhibition against the Spurs.

Acuff was -26 in 19 minutes, but all of the Kings’ starters were at least -21 as they lost to the Spurs by 29. He’s had an inconsistent preseason, which continued with 13 points on 12 attempts Friday. Acuff is going to get a ton of usage right away and has more than enough upside to justify his ADP, which is just outside the top-100.

Drew Dinsick and Jay Croucher break down the NBA Rookie of the Year award market with several high caliber draft picks that will get plenty of usage in their debut seasons.

Julian Champagnie had nine points (3-of-11 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, one block and three three-pointers in Friday’s exhibition against the Kings.

Champagnie came off the bench with Dylan Harper, Devin Vassell and De’Aaron Fox in the starting lineup, which is also the plan heading into Tuesday’s opener against the Thunder. If the Spurs stick with this lineup, it’ll be difficult for Champagnie to have much of a fantasy ceiling. He looks like a late-round dart throw in remaining fantasy drafts.

Isaiah Evans scored 21 points (6-of-13 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, and five 3-Pointers against the Bulls on Friday.

Evans won’t likely be in the rotation, but his ability to hit 3’s has scaled up to the NBA. He can score in bunches and get very hot from the three-point line. While he won’t be much of a factor this season, in deeper dynasty leagues, Evans will be likely to have value as a three-point shooter and scorer, in an Isaiah Joe type of role if he ends up making it in the NBA.

Jaylen Clark with 18 points (6-of-12 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), 7 rebounds, 3 steals, a block, and three 3-pointers in exhibition against the Bulls.

The Timberwolves rested their entire starting lineup, so don’t take too much out of this. The Wolves will likely need Clark off the bench this year as a wing defender that doesn’t demand the ball. Clarke averaged 6 rebounds and 2.6 steals in his senior season at UCLA. If the rebounding comes back, he could be an interesting streamer if he starts because of injuries. If you need steals and rebounds, he could be a good addition.

Caleb Wilson puts up 16 points (7-of-15 FGs), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks and two 3-pointers against the Timberwolves

Caleb Wilson has been as advertised in the pre-season. It will not take long for him to be the best player on the Bulls. The highlight reel bias with Wilson will be very strong this year, so he will be a candidate to sell high in certain situations because of the high scoring and flashy dunks.

Leonard Miller put up 12 points (3-of-7 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, with a three on Friday.

Leonard Miller has been one of the breakouts of the pre-season. He’s always had this ability to put up numbers, and he’s taken advantage of that opportunity in the pre-season. While he won’t be a major factor in most 12 team leagues, he will when if there’s injuries. In dynasty, your patience with Miller might be paying off.

Trayce Jackson-Davis had 23 points (4-of-5 FGs, 15-of-16 FTs), three rebounds and one steal in Friday’s exhibition against the Pistons.

Jackson-Davis flashed his potential with 23 points in the loss against the Pistons Friday. He played just five minutes per game in 17 games with the Raptors last season. Jackson-Davis should go back to playing closer to 15 minutes per game this year, but still won’t see enough minutes to be a fantasy option.

Derik Queen had 2 points, (1-of-3 FGs), 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and two blocks against the Wizards.

With Yves Missi starting every game in the pre-season, Queen will likely be coming off the bench to start the season. While he can put up very fun fantasy numbers when he gets the minutes, the defense has been a problem. In addition, transitioning to Jamahl Mosley who is a defensive minded coach, it’s likely that he won’t utilize Queen’s offensive ability to a high degree.

Saddiq Bey with 19 points (7-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and three 3-pointers on Friday against the Wizards.

Saddiq Bey was rewarded with the 3 years/$55.5M contract extension from the Pelicans for his play last season. He looks like he will continue his play by being a bench scorer off the bench this season. He likely won’t have as good of a season as last year, but he should still be a good points streamer at the very least.

Alex Sarr got 12 points (4-of-7 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 9 rebounds, a steal and a block against the Pelicans.

There have been questions about Anthony Davis joining the lineup and how it will impact Sarr, but he will still be useful in 12 team leagues. There will be games where he’s inefficient, especially for a big, and then there will be other games where he will look good. While a jump might’ve been hindered by AD arriving, and the foot injury over the summer, he’s still a solid big man.
