The Suns are rumored to be preparing a two-year, $20 million offer for Steve Nash.
Nash has been admirably loyal to the Suns franchise, but this could be the summer he signs with a contender and plays for a ring. The Suns have Aaron Brooks waiting in the wings, should Nash sign elsewhere.

Jonathan Kuminga (knee) is available to play against the Wizards on Tuesday.
Kuminga has been sidelined since January, so this will be his first time suiting up since Golden State sent him to Atlanta at the trade deadline. It’s unclear what his role will look like, but he should take minutes away from Zaccharie Risacher and Mouhamed Gueye.
Rockets' Smith Jr. a safe option for fantasy value
Eric Samulski discusses Jabari Smith Jr.'s impressive play recently as the Rockets' predominant big man and how his consistency playing an average of 35 minutes per game makes him a reliable option in fantasy.
  • IND Guard #9
T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is available for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
McConnell is back after sitting out Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks. His return may lead to Quenton Jackson being made inactive, as he’s still on a two-way contract. Also, Andrew Nembhard is available and Kam Jones is probable, meaning that McConnell may not get the run needed to affect fantasy basketball.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam (wrist) has been ruled out against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Siakam will be sidelined after playing on Sunday, which was his return from a three-game absence. He pushed Ben Sheppard to the bench on Sunday, so Sheppard should return to the starting unit with Siakam sidelined.
  • IND Guard-Forward #2
Andrew Nembhard (back) is available for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
Nembhard is set to play after being listed as questionable on the initial injury report. He logged 30 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks and should take on a similar workload against the 76ers.
  • POR Guard #17
Shaedon Sharpe (fibula) will be re-evaluated in four to six weeks.
Sharpe has missed Portland’s last seven games with a strained left calf, and that isn’t the only injury that he’s dealing with. The Trail Blazers announced on Tuesday that further imaging has revealed a stress reaction of his left fibula. Given the timeline, fantasy managers would be well-served to move on from Sharpe, as he’s unlikely to be much help during the fantasy playoff weeks due to the re-evaluation timeline and a potential minutes limit once he’s cleared to play.
  • SAS Forward-Center #45
Mason Plumlee (conditioning) has been ruled out against the Raptors on Wednesday.
Plumlee signed a 10-day deal with the Spurs last week, but he has been sidelined due to “return to competition reconditioning” for the four games since then. If he isn’t back to take on the Nets on Thursday, he’ll spend the entirety of this 10-day too out of shape to suit up.
  • LAL Center-Forward #11
Jaxson Hayes (ankle) has been ruled out against the Magic on Tuesday.
Hayes exited early from Sunday’s game and will remain sidelined against Orlando. Rui Hachimura spent some time as a small-ball center, though Drew Timme should also help fill some of the minutes down low when Deandre Ayton is on the bench.
  • SAC Guard #22
Devin Carter (back) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
Carter did not play in Monday’s win over the Grizzlies, which factored into recent signing Killian Hayes playing 11 minutes off the bench. If Carter can play against the Rockets, don’t expect to see too much of Hayes.
  • POR Center-Forward #35
Robert Williams III (foot) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Timberwolves.
Williams III is a late addition to the injury report with right foot soreness, which doesn’t bode well for his availability. With Yang Hansen on assignment in the G League, Donovan Clingan would presumably be in line for monster minutes if Williams III is forced to sit.
  • CHI Forward-Center #25
Jalen Smith (calf) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Hornets.
Smith sustained a right calf strain in Sunday’s loss to the Knicks, and it will cost him at least one game. In Smith’s absence, Guerschon Yabusele should see additional run, making him a worthwhile pickup off the waiver wire.
