Terry, who most recently was an assistant coach at Arizona, is poised to take on his first head coaching position. The Gold are the G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets. Terry, who played 19 seasons in the NBA, originally agreed to remain on the Arizona staff under new head coach Tommy Lloyd. But his decision to ultimately leave Tucson comes as no surprise, and this move gets Terry closer to the NBA.

Rivers took over as the Bucks’ head coach in early 2024, replacing Adrian Griffin, who had Milwaukee at 30-13 at the time. Since then, Rivers led them to a 97-103 record, which included two first-round exits. Now, they’ve missed the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Rivers speculated that this would be the case in recent interviews, and it doesn’t seem like he’s ready to take over a different team. The Bucks will begin the search for a new head coach.

Jaquez stayed hot after scoring 23 points in Friday’s win over the Wizards. This was his second straight 20-point game while shooting at least 70 percent from the floor. Jaquez has made a strong case for Sixth Man of the Year, and while he may not win the award, he will continue to be a pivotal piece for Miami as they enter the play-in tournament against the Hornets next week.

Powell was able to end the regular season on a high note after a rough few months for him. He was able to start the season hot, but injuries caused him to falter recently. This was high highest-scoring outing since February, and he was one of three Heat players to score at least 25 points in this game. It was encouraging for him to have this type of performance, and he’ll look to carry this production into their play-in tournament matchup with the Hornets next week.

Jackson finished the season strong with 12.7 points per game and 5.3 assists per game in seven games in April. While the 27-year-old guard certainly showed some promise, it still remains to be seen if he’ll factor into the Pacers’ rotation next year when the team is healthy.

Adebayo wraps up the regular season with his third straight 20-point double-double while also contributing multiple defensive stats in each game. He typically isn’t quite as impactful in fantasy basketball as he is on the court for the Heat, but he has been a fantasy stud over the final couple months. Miami will be the 10th seed in the East, meaning they will travel to Charlotte for the play-in tournament next week. If Adebayo is playing this well, they will certainly have a chance to survive the tournament and make it to the playoffs.

Harris finished out a solid regular season with 24 points in the win over the Pacers. The Pistons had already clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, but earned their 60th win in the road victory. While Harris and the Pistons have their eyes set on the postseason, the power forward is turning 34 this offseason and set to hit free agency.
