Rodions Kurucs has agreed to a one-year deal with Real Betis Basketball of Spain’s ACB.
A second-round pick of the Nets in 2018, Kurucs most recently played for KK Partizan in Serbia. Between the Adriatic League and EuroCup competition, the veteran forward appeared in 25 games last season.

Immanuel Quickley chipped in 18 points (5-of-15 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists one steal and one block over 35 minutes during Tuesday’s win over the Heat.
Dunks of the week: Castle, Sharpe take flight
Check out some of the best dunks of the week from around the NBA, including Stephon Castle, Shaedon Sharpe, Jalen Williams, and many more taking flight.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell finished with 17 points (6-of-17 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, six assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Tuesday’s loss to the Raptors.
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker started against the Bulls on Tuesday and finished with 21 points (9-of-19 FGs), one rebound, two assists, two steals and two three-pointers.
With Dyson Daniels (hip) sidelined, NAW returned to the starting unit. Since Trae Young (knee) returned to the lineup last week, NAW has started two of Atlanta’s four games and has scored at least 20 points in three of those. He’s at his best as a starter, and he’ll continue to get starting opportunities as the season progresses. However, he’ll still be worthy of a roster spot in standard leagues even as a reserve.
  • CHI Guard #0
Coby White led the Bulls with 24 points (7-of-13 FGs), four assists, three steals, five three-pointers and seven turnovers against the Hawks on Tuesday.
White continues to be an excellent scoring option for Chicago. He has played in 13 games this season and has scored at least 20 points in 11 of them. Seven of his points in this game came over the final three minutes to help the Bulls complete the comeback win. Chicago has won four games in a row, and White will look to stay hot and help them extend this streak against the 76ers on Friday.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vučević recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 21 points (9-of-16 FGs), 10 rebounds, four assists, one block and one three-pointer against the Hawks.
Vučević had a rough stretch to close November and start December, but during this four-game winning streak, he has been fantastic. He has averaged 19.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 block and 1.5 triples while shooting 54.8 percent from the floor over Chicago’s last four games. It is unlikely that he stays this hot, but his recent success has been impressive and will help the Bulls claw their way back up the standings in the East.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey stuffed the stat sheet on Tuesday with 19 points (8-of-15 FGs), 11 rebounds, 15 assists, two three-pointers and seven turnovers in a 126-123 win over the Hawks.
For the seventh time this season, Giddey recorded a triple-double. His 15 assists were a new season high for him, and it was enough to help Chicago win their fourth straight game, with two of those against the Cavs and two against the Hawks. His field goal percentage has been solid recently, but his turnovers fell one shy of matching his most in a game this season. Giddey will continue to pour in the points, rebounds and assists every night.
  • LAC Center #11
James Harden, Kris Dunn, Kawhi Leonard, John Collins and Brook Lopez will start Tuesday’s game against the Rockets.
Tuesday’s game is the first for the Clippers since losing Ivica Zubac to a Grade 2 ankle sprain, and he will miss at least three weeks. Lopez, who was out of the rotation entirely as recently as a week ago, moves into the starting lineup. While the career track record suggests that he’s worth streaming, Lopez’s production has been mediocre at best when allowed to play rotation minutes. Hopefully, he changes that on Tuesday.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell went off for a game-high 27 points (11-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 29 minutes on Tuesday, leading the Cavaliers to a 141-118 blowout win over the Pelicans.
Mitchell caught fire late in this one, drilling 7-of-8 shots in the second half — including three from deep — to pour in a 18 points after halftime. Cleveland knocked down a staggering 20-of-49 from three-point range to cruise to a relatively easy win. The 29-year-old scoring machine has topped 27 points in eight of nine contests since the outset of December. He’s delivered first-round fantasy value, averaging 30.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks through 28 games this season.
  • NOP Forward #1
Zion Williamson amassed a team-high 26 points (9-of-15 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 20 minutes during Tuesday’s one-sided loss to the Cavaliers.
New Orleans saw their five-game win streak snapped at the hands of a relentless Cavaliers three-point barrage as they knocked down a staggering 20-of-49 from beyond the arc. Williamson did his best to keep the Pelicans within shouting distance, contributing 14 first-half points off the bench before eclipsing 20 points for the third consecutive contest. The 25-year-old remains limited from a minutes standpoint coming off an extended absence due to an adductor issue but he’s been an elite scoring threat when he’s on the floor.
  • CLE Guard #5
Sam Merrill matched a season-high with 22 points (7-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 25 minutes during Tuesday’s blowout win over the Pelicans.
Merrill was a big reason why Cleveland was able to put this contest away, connecting on 6-of-10 from three-point range — including a pair in the final 34 seconds of the first half — as the Cavaliers drained 20-of-49 from distance. The 29-year-old sharpshooter was back in the lineup for just the second time since November 17 after missing 14 contests with a sprained right hand. He offers some appeal for fantasy managers in deeper formats based on his scoring upside.
