It looks like Nurkić will have to wait at least one more game before attempting to go for his third straight triple-double. With Kevin Love (knee) out, Kyle Filipowski should slide into the starting lineup and be a high-upside streaming option.

Herbert Jones (ankle) is available to play in Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.

Jones will take the floor on Friday for the first time since January 6 against the Lakers, ending an eight-game absence. The Pelicans have lost three straight games, but Jones’ return should provide them with another strong perimeter defender and a capable scorer to increase their chances of getting back in the win column.

Davion Mitchell (shoulder) is questionable to play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Mitchell missed Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers, which allowed Kasparas Jakučionis to start in his place. Jakučionis should start again if Mitchell remains out, but he only played 11 unproductive minutes against Portland and shouldn’t be considered as a streaming option against Utah.

Norman Powell

Norman Powell (back) is questionable to play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Powell was able to play through the back injury on Thursday, but he is back on the injury report because of it in this one. If he is unable to suit up, Dru Smith will likely slot into the starting unit if Powell is unavailable.

Baylor Scheierman

BOS Guard #55

Baylor Scheierman, Payton Pritchard, Jaylen Brown, Neemias Queta and Sam Hauser will start Friday’s game against the Nets.

Scheierman will make his third start of the season on Friday, replacing Derrick White (rest) in the Celtics’ opening five. The second-year guard hasn’t had much production so far this season, but did post a 9/7/4 line with three three-pointers and three steals in his most recent start. He’ll have a chance to put up decent numbers against the Nets as the Celtics try for back-to-back wins.

Lauri Markkanen

UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (reconditioning) is questionable to play against the Heat on Saturday.

Markkanen has missed Utah’s last six games, but there is a chance he returns to the lineup against Miami. If that happens, his return will push Cody Williams back to the bench. Williams has played well recently, but that hasn’t led to him being worth a roster spot in standard leagues.

Quenton Jackson

Quenton Jackson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Thunder on Friday.

Jackson exited early on Wednesday and will remain out for this game. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said he could return to play against the Hawks on Monday, but for at least this game, Ben Sheppard should see a bump in minutes off the bench.

DET Small Forward

Ron Holland (illness) is available to play on Friday vs. the Rockets.

Despite battling an illness, Holland won’t miss Friday’s game against the Rockets, as he was upgraded from probable to available. The second-year forward has been a nice depth piece for the Pistons this season, averaging 8.2 points and 4.3 rebounds through 40 games. He’ll likely come off the bench against Houston.
