The Timberwolves waived Bryn Forbes on Thursday to complete their three-team deal with the Jazz and Lakers.
Forbes ends up as getting the short end of the stick in the trade that sent Russell Westbrook to Utah and D’Angelo Russell to the Lakers. He wasn’t seeing minutes for the Wolves anyway, so this won’t have much of an impact on fantasy hoops. He may find a team to shoot threes for, but it’s unlikely he finds a consistent role.

TyTy Washington (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Added to the Clippers’ injury report on Sunday afternoon, Washington’s absence does not affect the rotation or fantasy basketball.
HLs: Cunningham scores 29 as Pistons destroy Kings
Cade Cunningham had 29 points and 11 assists as the Pistons routed the Kings 139-116 for their fifth win in six games. The 24-year-old guard was 13 of 22 from the field, hitting 3 of 5 3-pointers at Little Caesars Arena.
  • PHX Guard #8
Collin Gillespie, Grayson Allen, Dillon Brooks, Royce O’Neale and Mark Williams will start Sunday’s game against the Heat.
The Suns won’t have Devin Booker (ankle) for at least one week, which opens up a spot in the starting lineup. The void will be filled by Allen, who is worth rostering whenever he gets the chance to start. The Suns are also without Jalen Green (hamstring), so Jordan Goodwin’s role off the bench grows in importance.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) is available for Sunday’s game against the Suns.
Upgraded to probable earlier Sunday, Wiggins is officially available for Sunday’s game. The Heat will stick with their starting five of Wiggins, Bam Adebayo, Norman Powell, Pelle Larsson and Kasparas Jakučionis.
  • LAC Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard (illness, knee) is available for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Initially questionable for Sunday’s game, Leonard got through his pregame routine without issue and will play. He was limited to 25 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Lakers, and the Clippers’ forward may be under a similar restriction on Sunday. Kobe Sanders will get solid minutes off the bench, but the rookie does not need to be rostered in redraft leagues.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (back) is available for Sunday’s game against the Suns.
Powell is good to go after being listed as probable earlier Sunday. He will once again take on a marquee role within the Heat starting lineup as the team continues to play without Tyler Herro (ribs).
  • OKC Power Forward #10
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Luguentz Dort, Jaylin Williams and Chet Holmgren will start Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Aaron Wiggins is back after a two-game absence, but he will come off the bench. JayWill is the fifth starter for Sunday’s game, with Isaiah Joe moving to the bench. Williams isn’t a great streaming option here, as SGA and Holmgren are available.
  • PHX Guard #4
Jalen Green (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Green will sit out Sunday’s game after being pulled from Friday’s loss to the Hawks for injury management reasons. With Devin Booker (ankle) also out, the Suns will have to rely even more on Collin Gillespie, Grayson Allen and Jordan Goodwin.
  • Kasparas Jakučionis (head) is available for Sunday’s game against the Suns.
Jakučionis left Saturday’s win over the Jazz after taking an elbow to the face in the fourth quarter. While the play look a lot worse than it actually was, Jakučionis only suffered a facial contusion. With Davion Mitchell ruled out Sunday, he could be in line for some extra minutes against the Suns.
  • Jordan McLaughlin (shoulder) is available for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
McLaughlin is available, but he’s unlikely to get the minutes needed to be a factor in fantasy basketball. Leave him on the waiver wire.
  • OKC Guard #21
Aaron Wiggins (groin) is available for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Wiggins is back after missing the Thunder’s last two games with a groin injury. It’s possible that he starts with Ajay Mitchell sidelined, but Isaiah Joe is another option at Mark Daigneault’s disposal if the Thunder decide to restrict Wiggins’ minutes.
