Noah Clowney tallied 16 points (4-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 21 minutes to propel the Nets to a 127-82 blowout win over the Bucks.
Clowney, who drained 4-of-8 from downtown, was at the epicenter of Brooklyn’s unrelenting three-point barrage as they went 19-of-43 to shoot a staggering 44.2 percent as a team from long range. Their entire starting lineup reached double figures and they raced out to a commanding 17-point halftime lead and extended that advantage to nearly 30 points by the outset of the fourth quarter. Amazingly, Clowney missed all five of his shots from inside the arc. The 21-year-old has been hot-and-cold this season from a fantasy standpoint, but he’s in the midst of a strong stretch over the past two weeks. The Nets are back in action on Thursday when they host the Heat before closing out a two-game week with a home tilt against the Raptors.
