Ignas Brazdeikis is among the players who will attend the Raptors’ free agent minicamp on Monday.
Brazdeikis, a second-round pick in the 2019 NBA Draft who spent this season playing for Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania), averaged 11.6 points per game in his first EuroLeague season. While there’s no word as to who else will participate in the minicamp, this represents an opportunity for Brazdeikis to earn another shot in the NBA. He appeared in a total of 64 games during his three NBA seasons, playing for the Knicks, 76ers, and Magic.

  • LAL Guard #15

Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton will start Thursday’s game against the Rockets.
Dončić and Hachimura are back after missing the Lakers’ most recent game, pushing Nick Smith Jr. and Jake LaRavia to the bench. The other change is Reaves, who starts after coming off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the Suns. While he does not have a specific minutes limit, the Lakers will exercise some caution with his workload. Marcus Smart will come off the bench, eliminating his already-low fantasy value.
    Highlights: Brunson leads Knicks' comeback
Lead by Jalen Brunson, the New York Knicks had a strong fourth quarter for a "Christmas comeback" against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić (rest) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Pistons.
Nurkić did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Grizzlies, so Kyle Filipowski served as the starting center. While he will be asked to come off the bench on Friday, Filipowski is worth holding onto, as he’ll play plenty.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (groin) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Markkanen is off the injury report after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Grizzlies. His return means that Kevin Love will head to the bench, where he offers little fantasy value. There’s no need to roster Love when he isn’t starting.
  • HOU Forward #8
Jae’Sean Tate (wrist) is available for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Tate is good to go after initially being questionable with a left wrist contusion. However, being available does not guarantee that he’ll see any action. Leave Tate on the waiver wire.
  • DET Forward #5
Ron Holland (knee) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Holland did not play in either of Detroit’s last two games, resulting in increased playing time for fellow reserve Javonte Green. While that would remain the case if Holland can’t play on Friday, Green would not be worth the streaming risk.
  • NOP Forward #2
Herb Jones (ankle) is out for Friday’s game against the Suns.
Jones did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Cavaliers after spraining his right ankle the night prior. As a result, Bryce McGowens moved into the starting lineup and played 30 minutes. If Jordan Poole, who’s questionable for Friday, remains out, McGowens would be worth considering in deep leagues, but that’s it.
  • NOP Guard #3
Jordan Poole (ankle) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Suns.
Poole did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Cavaliers, with his absence leading to Jordan Hawkins and Micah Peavy playing rotation minutes. That may remain the case on Friday, as the Pelicans will still be without Herb Jones (ankle). Neither Hawkins nor Peavy is worth the risk in most redraft leagues.
  • PHX Guard #8
Grayson Allen (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Pelicans.
Friday’s game will be the fourth that Allen has missed due to right knee injury management. Royce O’Neale has moved into the starting lineup, and he’s worth streaming for those needed three-pointers and steals. However, fantasy managers should look for Collin Gillespie first.
  • HOU Center #28
Amen Thompson, Kevin Durant, Tari Eason, Jabari Smith Jr. and Alperen Şengün will start Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Şengün is good to go after initially being listed as questionable with tightness in his left calf. The lone change to the starting lineup is Eason, who replaces Josh Okogie. Whether this holds or not, now is the time to add Eason in standard leagues if he’s still sitting on your league’s waiver wire.
  • DAL Forward-Center #3
Anthony Davis (groin) will not return to Thursday’s game against the Warriors.
Davis pulled up lame during the second quarter and was substituted immediately. According to the Mavericks, he has been diagnosed with right groin spasms and will not return. Max Christie replaced Davis in the lineup to begin the third quarter, and Dallas will run a Cooper Flagg-heavy offense as they look to come back.
