Lonnie Walker exited Thursday’s win over Maccabi Ra’Anana after suffering a right wrist contusion.
Walker was on a heater before the injury, shooting 5-of-6 from the field and recording a stat line of 12 points, one rebound, two assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers. Signed by the Nets to a one-year deal in July, Walker is considered day-to-day moving forward. Should he have to miss any of Brooklyn’s remaining preseason action, this would free up additional minutes for Armoni Brooks, who is looking to guarantee himself a roster spot, whether that’s with the Nets or another NBA team.
