Tyler Herro recorded a stat line of 28 points (10-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers in Friday’s 119-111 loss to the Celtics, playing 40 minutes.
Herro had a good night in Boston, shooting better than 50% from the field and recording a line of at least 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Last season he had seven such games. Even with Kyle Lowry (13 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one block, and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes) moving back into the starting lineup, Herro is capable of threatening the top 50 in per-game fantasy value. The Heat may not have won, but they have to be pleased with Herro’s performance after he struggled on Wednesday against the Pistons.
