Cole Anthony played 29 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s 126-107 win over the Raptors, logging 15 points (5-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, 10 assists, and two 3-pointers.
Anthony recorded his first double-double of the season Tuesday night, with the 10 assists representing a season-high. While he has hit double figures in points in five straight games, the overall production hasn’t been good enough to justify Anthony being rostered in standard leagues. Over the last two weeks, he’s ranked outside the top 200 in 9-cat per-game value, according to Basketball Monster. While he does provide points, rebounds, and assists, the inefficient shooting (33.8% FG over the last two weeks) weighs down Anthony’s fantasy value as if it were attached to a cement block. He’ll have streaming value in standard leagues on some nights, but that’s the most one can say about Anthony in fantasy basketball these days.
