Josh Hart logged 30 minutes in Tuesday’s 115-91 win over the Hornets, amassing 17 points (7-of-10 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game, Hart said that he hasn’t been as involved offensively as he would like. And that had to do with playmaking in general, not scoring. While Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau argued that Hart had the ball in his hands more this season than last, his usage has actually decreased. There were no such issues for him against the Hornets, as he established a new season-high with the 17 points while recording a full stat line. Ranked just inside the top 150 in 9-cat per-game value for the season, Hart has been a top 100 player over the last two weeks.
