The Knicks announced on Monday that they’ve signed Jacob Toppin to a two-way contract.

Having begun the season with the Knicks on a two-way deal, Toppin is back under that designation as New York needed to fill a slot before the end of business on Monday. Jacob, the younger brother of former Knick Obi Toppin, has appeared in eight games this season, spending most of his time with the Knicks’ G League affiliate in Westchester.

Pelle Larsson (elbow) is out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.

Larsson, who suffered a right elbow contusion during Friday’s loss to the Celtics, was initially listed as doubtful. Simone Fontecchio replaced him in the lineup to begin the second half on Friday, so he may be the next man up to fill the void in the starting lineup.

Tristan Vukčević (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

With Alex Sarr (ankle) unavailable, Vukčević started Saturday’s loss to the Nets. However, he only played 20 minutes, with veteran Anthony Gill (hand) logging 28 off the bench. If Sarr, who’s also listed as questionable, plays, there isn’t much to be gained from rostering Vukčević in fantasy leagues, even on a four-game day.

D'Angelo Russell

D’Angelo Russell (not with team) is out for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Russell has yet to join the Wizards since being sent to the nation’s capital as part of the Anthony Davis trade. And it’s fair to wonder if the veteran guard is a buyout candidate, given the number of young perimeter players on the roster. There’s no need to roster Russell in fantasy leagues.

Jaden Hardy

Jaden Hardy (rest) is out for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Hardy’s Wizards debut will have to wait for at least one more game. Given his role in Dallas, fantasy managers should hold off on adding the fourth-year guard until it’s made clear that there’s a place for him within the Wizards’ rotation.

Anthony Gill

Anthony Gill (hand) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Heat.

Gill has played between 27 and 30 minutes in three of Washington’s last four games, with his playing time dictated mainly by the availability of starter Alex Sarr (ankle). With the second-year center also listed as questionable, Gill could be in for another heavy workload if he plays, but Sarr doesn’t.

Alex Sarr (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Limited to 18 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Pistons, Sarr did not play against the Nets on Saturday. Tristan Vukčević (knee), who started in Brooklyn, is also questionable for Sunday’s game, and he isn’t the most dependable streaming option. Hopefully, if Sarr plays, he’ll be able to play more than he did in Detroit.

Kyshawn George

Kyshawn George (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

George did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Nets, opening up a spot in the starting lineup for rookie Jamir Watkins. Watkins played 45 minutes, finishing with 13 points, one rebound, one assist, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer. That isn’t the most robust stat line, but Watkins playing that much stands out. On a four-game day, he would be worth streaming if George sits again.
