According to a Saturday report from So Cal News Group’s Khobi Price, JJ Reddick said Jarred Vanderbilt is ramping things up in hopes of returning from his foot injuries by the beginning of the regular season.
Vanderbilt, who averaged 5.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in 29 games last season, hasn’t participated in any non-contact drills or contact work just yet. He could prove to be a valuable defender for the Lakers early on if he’s healthy enough to rejoin the rotation early in the season.
