The Chicago Bulls signed and waived Javon Freeman-Liberty on Saturday, according to the NBA"s transactions log.
Freeman-Liberty averaged 7.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game through his 22 appearances with the Raptors last season. He’ll get a chance to play for the Windy City Bulls in 2024-25 if there’s an Exhibit 10 language in his latest contract.

Nikola Jokić stuffed the stat sheet on Tuesday with 29 points (12-of-22 FGs), seven rebounds, 14 assists, three steals and five three-pointers against the Mavericks.
Jokić didn’t get enough rebounds for a second straight double-double, but he was still able to supply his typical monster statistical impact. He had a chance to get to 15 assists by kicking the ball out to Peyton Watson in the corner in the closing seconds of the game, but his three-point attempt rimmed out. Still, it was another dominant performance from Jokić, and he’ll look to keep it going against the Timberwolves on Christmas Day.
Highlights: Flagg does it all in prime time vs DEN
Cooper Flagg opened the night 7-7 from the field and finished with 33 points to help deliver an early Christmas win for the Dallas Mavericks against the Denver Nuggets.
  • SAC Forward #13
Keegan Murray (calf) will not return to Tuesday’s game against the Pistons.
Murray landed awkwardly and appeared to tweak his right calf during the second quarter of Tuesday’s game. While there wasn’t much made of the injury at the time, the Kings forward was not on the court to begin the third quarter. Nique Clifford was inserted into the lineup and could take on that role if Murray misses time.
  • LAL Guard #36
Marcus Smart finished Tuesday’s loss to the Suns with 14 points (5-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, six assists and four three-pointers.
  • LAL Guard #15
Austin Reaves (calf) finished Tuesday’s loss to the Suns with 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer.
  • LAL Center #5
Deandre Ayton produced 12 points (6-of-8 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist and three steals in Tuesday’s loss to the Suns.

  • PHX Guard #12
Collin Gillespie tallied 16 points (6-of-10 FGs), four rebounds, eight assists, three steals and four three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Lakers.
  • PHX Guard #1
Devin Booker recorded 21 points (7-of-14 FGs, 7-of-8 FTS), two rebounds, 11 assists and two steals in Tuesday’s win over the Lakers.
  • PHX Guard-Forward #3
Dillon Brooks finished Tuesday’s win over the Lakers with 25 points (10-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) and three three-pointers.
Given how the Suns’ last meeting with the Lakers ended, Brooks was bound to be motivated for Tuesday’s rematch. He shot the ball exceptionally well and has scored at least 22 points in three straight games. Surprisingly, Brooks did not record any rebounds, assists, steals or blocked shots, a serious departure from the norm for him. Brooks’ next opportunity to record a more robust stat line will be on Friday against the Pelicans.
