Raptors waived C Orlando Robinson and F Cole Swider.
Robinson has been the more impactful player of the two in fantasy, as he picked up a few starts on nights when Toronto was without Jakob Poeltl. As for Swider, he provided additional depth on the wing after agreeing to a 10-day contract in late March. However, the door is not officially closed on either player’s return, as the Raptors have two open roster spots. One or both could be signed to a multi-year deal over the weekend. AJ Lawson could also be given a standard deal, which would free up a two-way slot.

Cade Cunningham had 29 points (11-of-19 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, 11 assists, one block and two three-pointers in the Pistons’ 131-124 victory over the Warriors on Friday.
HLs: Jokic returns from knee injury, scores 31
Nikola Jokic had 31 points and 12 rebounds in his first game in a month to lead the Nuggets over the Clippers 122-109. Jokic, the three-time NBA MVP, missed 16 games after injuring his left knee in Miami on Dec. 29.
  • GSW Guard #30
Stephen Curry (knee) won’t return to Friday’s game against the Pistons.
Curry checked out of the game in the third quarter Friday against the Pistons and headed straight to the locker room following a brief interaction with the team’s trainer. The Warriors quickly ruled him out for the rest of the game with right knee soreness. While the severity of the injury is unclear, the Warriors have a few days off before their next game Tuesday against the 76ers. With Jimmy Butler already done for the year, a significant injury to Curry isn’t one the Warriors can afford.
  • UTA Guard #3
Keyonte George had 26 points (9-of-11 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists, one block and one three-pointer in Friday’s loss to the Nets.
George led the Jazz with 26 points in the loss to the Nets Friday, but there’s more to this story. Late in the fourth quarter, the 22-year-old point guard twisted his ankle and went straight to the locker room. Jazz coach Will Hardy told reporters after the game that X-Rays were negative on George’s left ankle. The Jazz close out the week against the Raptors on Sunday, though it’s unclear if George will be available at this point.
  • BKN Guard #24
Cam Thomas had 21 points (7-of-15 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, four assists and one three-pointer in Friday’s win over the Jazz.
Thomas returned after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets with a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old shooting guard had 21 points in 24 minutes off the bench. Thomas struggled from behind the three-point line, going 1-of-6. The Nets are content to keep him under 25 minutes played, which limits his overall fantasy value and eliminates his ceiling.
  • BKN Guard #8
Egor Dëmin had 25 points (8-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists and six three-pointers in the Net’s 109-99 victory over the Jazz on Friday.
Dëmin had arguable his best game as a professional Friday against the Jazz. The 19-year-old shooting guard made NBA history, setting the rookie record for most consecutive games with at least one made three-pointer at 34. The eighth overall pick in last year’s draft, Dëmin had six threes on the night on his way to 25 points and also 10 rebounds. The Nets close out the week against the best team in the East in Detroit on Sunday.
  • DEN Center #15
Nikola Jokić returned to the lineup on Friday and finished with 31 points (8-of-11 FGs, 13-of-17 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two three-pointers in a 122-109 win over the Clippers.
Jokić was back in the lineup for the first time since December 29, and while head coach David Adelman reported that he would have his minutes restricted, that didn’t stop him from having a monster night. He only played 25 minutes, but he was able to record a 30-point double-double while remaining incredibly efficient from the floor. He was subpar from the free throw line, but he was able to get there 17 times. In the two games before he injured his knee, he took 13 and 23 free throws, and he’s shooting a career-best 7.7 free throws per game this year. Even if his minutes continue to be managed, he’ll still produce like one of the best players in fantasy basketball.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell had 16 points (6-of-12 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Suns.
While the Cavaliers entered the season as one of the strongest teams in the Eastern Conference, Cleveland is a bit of a different animal with Evan Mobley and Darius Garland sidelined. The load for scoring largely falls on Mitchell’s shoulders even when the Cavs are at 100 percent, which makes it all the more curious that he didn’t lead the team in points or field goal attempts Friday. The 29-year-old shooting guard led the team in turnovers by far with eight as the team lost to the Suns by 13. He’s provided third-round value over the last two weeks. The Cavaliers will look to bounce back Sunday against the Trail Blazers.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray finished with 20 points (7-of-10 FGs), four rebounds, nine assists, one steal and four three-pointers on Friday against the Clippers.
Murray didn’t take as many shots as he typically does, but he was incredibly efficient and nearly recorded a double-double. This was his fifth straight game with at least 20 points, and he has reached that mark in 17 of his last 18 outings. Murray should appear in his first All-Star Game this season, and he has been one of the best players in fantasy basketball all year. He’ll look to wrap up the week with another strong performance against the Thunder on Sunday.
  • PHX Guard #23
Jordan Goodwin had 17 points (6-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, three steals and five three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Cavaliers.
Goodwin moved back to the bench earlier this week when Collin Gillespie returned from a hand injury. The 27-year-old has an interesting skillset which includes effective rebounding and excellent defense, though his scoring is inconsistent. With Devin Booker sidelined Friday, Goodwin came off the bench and hit five three-pointers against the Cavaliers. He’s returned 15th-round per game value over the last two weeks, but isn’t necessarily worth rostering in most fantasy leagues.
  • DEN Guard-Forward #10
Tim Hardaway Jr. provided a boost off the bench with 22 points (6-of-9 FGs), two rebounds and five three-pointers against the Clippers on Friday.
24 hours after he scored 25 points while hitting seven triples, THJ was able to remain hot in this game. His value has always been tied to how many shots he can hit from beyond the arc, and he is incredibly streaky. Managers can certainly ride the hot hand and get some solid production out of him, but he can always randomly go cold, which makes him a risky player to roster. Still, this was another strong night from beyond the arc for him.
