Lauri Markkanen, Taylor Hendricks, Jusuf Nurkic, Ace Bailey and Keyonte George will start against the Mavericks on Monday.
Markkanen will make his 2025 preseason debut on Monday, replacing Svi Mykhailuk in the starting unit. Markkanen played just 47 regular-season games for the Jazz last season, where he averaged his lowest points per game since 2021-22. The remaining four starters will make their third starts of the preseason against the Mavericks as they look to collect their first win.

Brandon Williams (calf) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Kings.
Williams was initially listed as doubtful with a calf injury, but has since been upgraded to questionable. If he’s ruled out, D’Angelo Russell could see extra minutes off the bench while Ryan Nembhard remains in the starting lineup.
HLs: Lopez sinks career-high nine 3-pointers
Brook Lopez joined Steph Curry and LeBron James as just the third player to make nine 3-pointers in a game after turning 37 in a Clippers win that saw Lopez, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden combine for 93 points.
  • IND Forward #22
Isaiah Jackson (concussion) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Jackson suffered a head injury in the first half of Monday’s loss to the Celtics and also missed Friday’s game with a concussion. His absence hasn’t impacted fantasy basketball as Jay Huff continues to play 21 minutes per game.
  • IND Guard #9
T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
McConnell is out with right hamstring soreness after scoring 13 points in 14 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Celtics. The 33-year-old backup point guard only played in one game of a back-to-back earlier this week and he’ll do the same here. He’s not playing enough minutes to be rostered in most fantasy leagues this year.
  • IND Guard-Forward #23
Aaron Nesmith (knee) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Nesmith has been out since November 13 with a left knee sprain. His questionable status shows that a return could happen as soon as Saturday night. Even if Nesmith is ultimately held out, he should be back on the floor sometime in the near future.
  • ATL Guard #11
Trae Young (quad) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.
Young is dealing with a right thigh contusion, but is likely to be available against the Knicks given his probable status Saturday despite it being the second game of a back-to-back. The 27-year-old point guard had 30 points and five three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Heat.
  • MIA Guard #14
Tyler Herro (toe) is out for Saturday’s game against the Pacers.
Herro is set to miss his seventh consecutive game with a toe injury. Davion Mitchell had six points and seven assists in 29 minutes as the starting point guard in the win over the Hawks on Friday. He’ll continue to have that role with Herro out.
  • MIA Center-Forward #13
Bam Adebayo (back) is out for Saturday’s game against the Pacers.
Adebayo is set to miss another game with lower back tightness. Kel’el Ware will continue to see a bump in usage while Pelle Larsson started and had 21 points in Friday’s win over the Hawks.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey (ankle) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.
Giddey is dealing with a left ankle sprain and listed as questionable Saturday after recording 12 points, six rebounds and 11 assists in Friday’s win over the 76ers. Coby White would be the main beneficiary if Giddey is out, while Tre Jones and Ayo Dosunmu could also see a bump in usage.
  • MIN Guard #10
Mike Conley (rest) is available for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Conley was on the injury report as questionable for rest reasons, but ultimately is available for Saturday’s game against the Nets. He’ll serve as the backup point guard with Anthony Edwards (shoulder) also available.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards (shoulder) is available for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Edwards suffered a shoulder injury during Thursday’s game against the Nuggets, though he played through the injury for the rest of the game. Ultimately, he’s available for Saturday’s game against the Nets as the injury wasn’t serious.
