Aaron Gordon had 24 points (9-of-16 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer against the Heat on Wednesday.

Gordon dropped 50 points in the Nuggets’ season-opening overtime loss to the Warriors. The 30-year-old power forward failed to record even 20 points in the next four games, but has now bounced back with at least 20 points in the last two games. Gordon’s shooting seems to be improved this season and the Nuggets are in no position to curb his usage on offense this year.

Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said on Saturday that he considers Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) to be “ahead of schedule” in his recovery.

Jones has been sidelined since he suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee during a November 16 game against the Celtics. At the time, it was announced that he would miss at least six weeks. However, Jones has been able to play some 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 recently, and his head coach considers the forward to be “ahead of schedule” in his recovery. John Collins has been the starting power forward in Jones’ absence, but that has not done much to bolster his fantasy value.

Schröder has missed Sacramento’s last seven games with a strained right hip flexor and is likely to miss an eighth on Sunday. Russell Westbrook, who took over the starting point guard job when Schröder was healthy, will continue to play most of the minutes at that position, with Malik Monk assuming additional playmaking responsibilities off the bench.

Drew Eubanks (thumb) will not play in Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Eubanks exited Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets after playing four first-quarter minutes. He has since been diagnosed with an avulsion fracture of his left thumb and should be considered out indefinitely. Maxime Raynaud will continue to start in place of the injured Domantas Sabonis, and he’s worth streaming out of necessity. Precious Achiuwa’s playing time should increase as well, but Raynaud is the player to target.

Zach LaVine

Zach LaVine (thumb) is off the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.

LaVine was held out of Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets due to a sore right thumb, opening up a spot in the starting lineup for Nique Clifford. Look for Clifford to head back to the bench on Sunday, but his playing time would not take as significant a hit if Keon Ellis (wrist) cannot play. Ellis is considered questionable for Sunday’s game.

Keon Ellis (wrist) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.

The right-handed Ellis is dealing with a sore right wrist, hence his inclusion on the Kings’ injury report. The good news for Sacramento is that Zach LaVine (thumb) is off the injury report, so he would absorb most of the minutes that would go to Ellis. However, Ellis’ absence would also preserve some of Nique Clifford’s minutes after he started for LaVine on Thursday.

Coby White (calf) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.

While White is back on the injury report, fantasy managers should assume that he will be able to go on Sunday. If, for some reason, he cannot play, Tre Jones is the player to target for streaming value. Despite White and Giddey being available, Jones played 25 minutes off the bench on Friday and was part of Chicago’s closing lineup in Charlotte.

Injured during a December 1 loss to the Magic, Huerter has missed Chicago’s last four games with a strained left adductor. With Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) trending toward not playing on Sunday, Huerter would give the Bulls a welcome boost on the perimeter if he’s able to play. However, his fantasy upside is limited with Josh Giddey and Coby White both healthy.

Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.

Dosunmu has missed two of Chicago’s last three games, and it appears likely that he’ll miss a third on Sunday. Isaac Okoro’s return from a back injury gave Chicago a boost on Friday, and Patrick Williams also played well in the win over the Hornets. However, neither player is worth the risk in most fantasy leagues, especially with Okoro’s playing time being restricted.
