Cavaliers announced C Jarrett Allen will miss “approximately one week” due to a fracture in his left ring finger.
Allen returned to action on Friday against the Hawks, but he sat out Saturday against the Celtics and will miss at least a week. Jaylon Tyson is worth a look, as he should fill in for Allen until he returns.

Maxi Kleber (back) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Jazz.
Even with Deandre Ayton (elbow) ruled out, Kleber is unlikely to get the run needed to affect fantasy basketball if he plays on Thursday. Leave him on the waiver wire.
Brunson, SGA, Doncic among NBA All-Star 'locks'
Chris Mannix and Kurt Helin discuss who they believe are locks for the 2025-26 NBA All-Star Game, who's on the bubble, and who will fail to make the cut.
  • CLE Guard-Forward #20
Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Jaylon Tyson, Dean Wade and Jarrett Allen will start Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
The struggling Cavaliers have made a change to their starting lineup, and it will hold for the foreseeable future. Tyson, a second-year wing who has been one of the biggest surprises in fantasy basketball, returns to the starting lineup with De’Ander Hunter being bumped to the bench. Even when starting, Hunter offered a limited fantasy ceiling. Fantasy managers should rush to add Tyson if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.
  • LAL Center #5
Deandre Ayton (elbow) is out for Thursday’s game against the Jazz.
Ayton is dealing with a sore right elbow, forcing his absence for Thursday’s game. Jaxson Hayes has been the replacement in the past, and that should be the case against the Jazz. He’s only worth a look in deep leagues where there’s a need for blocks and a high field-goal percentage.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić (rest) is not on the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Nurkić was given the night off on Monday, resulting in Kyle Filipowski moving into the starting lineup. Filipowski will return to the bench if the Jazz rotation is whole, but there’s a chance that he gets another start. Lauri Markkanen (groin) is listed as questionable for Thursday night.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (groin) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Markkanen is listed on the injury report due to right groin injury management, even though Thursday’s game is not part of a back-to-back. With Jusuf Nurkić absent from the injury report, Kyle Filipowski could remain in the starting lineup if Markkanen sits.
  • GSW Center-Forward #20
Al Horford (sciatica) is out for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Counting Thursday, Horford has been available for one of the Warriors’ last ten games. His continued absence means a few more minutes for Quinten Post, but there’s no justifying stashing Horford in an IL+ slot at this stage of his career.
  • MEM Forward #15
Brandon Clarke (knee) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Clarke, who underwent offseason right knee surgery, is available to play for the first time this season. With Zach Edey (ankle) out, rotation minutes should be available. That said, the amount of time that Clarke missed likely means that he’ll be on a minutes restriction. He isn’t a must-add now, but keep an eye on Clarke’s minutes and production.
  • WAS Forward #22
Khris Middleton (knee) is out for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Thursday’s game will be the fourth that Middleton has missed due to a sore right knee. Justin Champagnie has moved into the starting lineup, but that has not led to a significant increase in playing time. With Bilal Coulibaly available, there isn’t much to gain from streaming Champagnie, even if he remains in the starting five.
  • WAS Center #20
Alex Sarr (adductor) is not on the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Sarr is no longer on the injury report after missing six games with a strained right adductor. His return affects Marvin Bagley III and Tristan Vukčević, with the former likely headed to the bench. While some managers in deep leagues can consider holding onto Bagley, neither he nor Vukčević has much fantasy value when Sarr plays.
  • WAS Guard #0
Bilal Coulibaly (oblique) is absent from the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Coulibaly is good to go after missing the last four games with an oblique injury. Bub Carrington has filled the void in the starting lineup for the previous three games; he may be headed to the bench on Thursday. However, prepare for the possibility that Coulibaly’s minutes may be restricted.
