HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reports the Warriors will sign LJ Cryer to a two-way contract.
Cryer spent time with the Warriors during summer league after going undrafted in June. Now, he’ll occupy the two-way spot that was previously held by Jackson Rowe, who the Warriors waived.

Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 33 points (10-of-18 FGs), 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and seven three-pointers in a 123-110 win over the Jazz on Monday.
Wemby was once again able to have a monster performance. He has taken fewer three-pointers this season, which has helped his field goal percentage. However, over his last three games, he is averaging 5.3 triples per game, and he set a new season high against Utah. During that stretch, he’s averaging 31.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks to go with the triples while also shooting better than 50 percent from the floor in each game. He’ll look to stay hot in Houston on Tuesday.
Christie sets the tone for Mavs in win vs. Knicks
Mike Tirico and Reggie Miller discuss the Mavericks' improvements to their three-point shooting that set the tone against the Knicks and the defensive struggles that continue for New York.
  • Updating a prior blurb, Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Warriors.
Murray-Boyles was initially listed as questionable on the Raptors’ injury report for Tuesday, but that may have been a mistake. The rookie’s status was upgraded to out a few minutes later, and he’ll miss at least one game with a left thumb contusion. With Jakob Poeltl (back) also out, the Raptors will lean heavily on Sandro Mamukelashvili at the center position.
  • UTA Center #22
Kyle Filipowski provided a boost off the bench with 13 points (4-of-10 FGs), six rebounds, two assists and two steals against the Spurs on Monday.
Filipowski had been starting the last three games for Utah, but with Jusuf Nurkić back in the rotation, he started and pushed Filipowski to the bench. Still, he was still productive in 26 minutes. Over his last four games, Filipowski has averaged 13.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He remains a worthy stash option, but he should still provide some value right now.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is questionable to play against the Warriors on Tuesday.
CMB exited early from Sunday’s game with a thumb contusion, but he may not end up missing more time. He has been starting recently, but if CMB ends up sitting out, Sandro Mamukelashvili would get the starting nod and would be a high-priority streaming option.
  • TOR Guard #14
Ja’Kobe Walter (hip) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Warriors.
Tuesday’s game will be the fifth that Walter has missed with a right hip pointer, and it’s unknown when he’ll be able to return. With RJ Barrett (ankle) also out, more minutes will be available to Ochai Agbaji and Jamal Shead, with the former receiving the starting nod in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #9
RJ Barrett (ankle) has been ruled out against the Warriors on Tuesday.
This will be a sixth straight absence for Barrett. Jamal Shead had been starting in his stead, but he was replaced by Ochai Agbaji in their last game. Agbaji wasn’t productive, but if Shead returns to starting, he’ll have upside as a streamer.
  • SAC Guard #23
Keon Ellis (knee) is not on the injury report against the Heat on Tuesday.
Ellis has missed the Kings’ last two games with a knee injury, but he’ll return to take on Miami. However, prior to this two-game absence, Ellis averaged under eight minutes per game. He’ll be available, but there is no guarantee he plays enough to be worth streaming.
  • MIA Guard #11
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (knee) is available to play against the Warriors on Monday.
Jaquez will be back after missing Miami’s last two games. He’ll take on a larger role with Tyler Herro (rib) sidelined, which should help his production for fantasy managers. His return should take away some minutes from Simone Fontecchio.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) is available to play against the Warriors on Monday.
Mitchell will be back after missing Miami’s last two games. His return means Kasparas Jakučionis will return to playing a role off the bench after getting the second start of his career on Saturday. That will eliminate Jakučionis’ streaming upside, so he can be returned to the waiver wire.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić returned to the starting lineup on Monday and contributed 20 points (9-of-17 FGs), nine rebounds, five assists and two three-pointers against the Spurs.
After three games as a DNP- Coach’s Decision, Nurkić returned to the starting lineup for Utah. When he’s played as of late, Nurkić has been quite productive, and that continued in this game, despite a lack of defensive production, which has been vital to Nurkić’s value this season. Unfortunately, the inconsistency of his place in the rotation lately has made things difficult for fantasy managers. If he plays against the Timberwolves on Tuesday, he should make a big impact, but there’s no guarantee that happens.
