Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) is out for Friday’s game against the Hornets.
Bulls head coach Billy Donovan confirmed that neither Ayo Dosunmu nor Kevin Huerter will travel to Charlotte for Friday’s game. Dosunmu returned to action on Sunday after missing one game with his thumb injury, but then he was unable to practice on Monday and will now miss Friday’s game. It remains to be seen how much longer he will miss. With Tre Jones also out, Jevon Carter has seen an uptick in playing time.

Peyton Watson (trunk) is doubtful to return to Monday’s game against the Rockets.
Watson suffered a right trunk contusion during the first quarter of Monday’s game, limping back to the locker room to receive further treatment. With Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon already out, the Nuggets will be even more shorthanded if Watson has to remain out. Look for Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown to figure more prominently in the rotation.
Pistons show 'resolve' in physical win vs. Celtics
Noah Eagle, Robbie Hummel and Austin Rivers share their takeaways from a physical back-and-forth between the Pistons and Celtics.
  • MIA Forward #0
Simone Fontecchio accumulated 12 points (5-of-11 FGs), four rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Raptors.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell finished Monday’s loss to the Raptors with 20 points (5-of-15 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, four assists and two three-pointers.
While he has scored at least 20 points in five of his last six appearances, Powell’s field-goal percentage took a hit on Monday. He made five of his 15 attempts against the Raptors and has gone 19-of-48 from the field over his last three games. The decrease in field-goal percentage is why Powell has been ranked outside the top-150 in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. However, his season-long fantasy value remains high, so fantasy managers should not be too concerned.
  • MIA Center-Forward #13
Bam Adebayo tallied 20 points (7-of-13 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Monday’s loss to the Raptors.
Adebayo, who notched his tenth double-double of the season on Monday, has increased his scoring output recently. He’s scored at least 19 points in five of his last six outings, including four games with at least 20. Unfortunately, Adebayo has also shot 68.2 percent from the foul line during this stretch, which has negatively impacted his fantasy value. Remove the subpar foul shooting, and Bam has been a top-40 player over the past two weeks.
  • TOR Guard #23
Jamal Shead recorded eight points (3-of-9 FGs), three rebounds, 10 assists, one block and two three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Heat.
With Immanuel Quickley (illness) cleared to play, Shead was relegated to the bench on Monday. However, the second-year guard still provided solid value in Miami. Shead’s 10 assists matched his season-high and were two shy of his career-high, and he also hit two three-pointers. While he has not reached the point where he can be relied upon in fantasy leagues as a reserve, Shead is worth streaming on nights when he’s allowed to start.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #4
Scottie Barnes amassed 17 points (8-of-16 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, three blocks and one three-pointer in Monday’s win over the Heat.
Barnes’ stat line included his 13th double-double, halfway to his total during the 2024-25 season. Thus far, the Raptors forward has been one of the most productive players in fantasy basketball, regardless of league format. While many managers had high expectations for Barnes, few expected him to threaten first-round value in 12-team leagues as he currently is.
  • Immanuel Quickley tallied 15 points (6-of-12 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Heat.
Quickley returned to the Raptors’ lineup after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks, and he played 34 minutes in Miami. While the final stat line wasn’t great, fantasy managers have received solid value from IQ throughout the season. Thus far, his eight-cat value has aligned with his Yahoo! ADP (74), and there’s no reason why that shouldn’t continue, provided Quickley remains healthy.
  • TOR Forward #3
Brandon Ingram accounted for 28 points (9-of-19 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, one block and five three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Heat.
Ingram has been on a roll since he scored seven points on 3-of-13 shooting in Toronto’s December 5 loss to the Raptors. While he did not extend his 30-point streak to three games on Monday, the Raptors forward had another good night offensively. Over his last three games, Ingram has averaged 29.7 points on 54.4 percent shooting from the field. His overall production during this stretch has been good for top-25 value in eight-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster.
  • MIA Forward #5
Nikola Jović (elbow) will undergo an MRI on his right arm on Tuesday.
Jović injured his right arm when he landed awkwardly after being fouled by Toronto’s Collin Murray-Boyles on a dunk attempt during the first half of Monday’s game. While team trainers applied an air cast to the forward’s arm before he left the court, X-rays came back negative. More will be learned about the severity of Jović’s injury on Tuesday. How impactful a potential absence would be depends on Tyler Herro’s status, as he was a late scratch due to a toe injury flaring up.
  • LAC Guard-Forward #33
Nicolas Batum (illness) is inactive for Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Batum did not practice on Sunday and is listed as inactive for Monday’s game. His absence does not affect fantasy basketball, but it may lead to a few more minutes for fellow reserve Kobe Brown.
