Amen Thompson tallied 24 points (8-of-16 FGs, 7-of-11 FTs), 12 rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in the loss to the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Thompson was one of the Rockets’ most productive offensive performers on Wednesday. On efficient 50-percent shooting, the former fourth-overall pick notched his 14th 20-point game of the season, and fourth in the past five games. He made his usual contributions as a passer, but also hit the glass hard to finish as one of three Houston starters to collect double-digit rebounds. Thompson’s work on the defense end also added to his overall production on the night, leading to a nice night as far as fantasy basketball goes.
