Lauri Markkanen (knee) is officially out against the Clippers on Thursday.
Markkanen is dealing with a left knee contusion that will keep him out of the lineup for this one. The Jazz will turn to Svi Mykhailiuk, Taylor Hendricks, and Kyle Filipowski to pick up the slack, but Markkanen should return to the starting lineup on Saturday against the Warriors.
  • UTA Guard #3

Keyonte George (illness) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.
George is one of the Jazz players who has been dealing with an illness, most recently playing 24 minutes in Monday’s win over the Warriors. His availability means that Isaiah Collier will come off the bench, but he remains a player who should be rostered this time of year.
Mannix: Lakers are better without James
Chris Mannix dives into how the statistics show that Los Angeles performs better without LeBron James on the floor and how that can shape how he is used when he returns from injury.
  • MEM Guard #1
Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) is out for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Pippen will miss a third consecutive game as he continues to deal with sesamoiditis in his right great toe. Javon Small and, if available, Cam Spencer will play plenty, as the Grizzlies are unlikely to have Ty Jerome (calf) as well.
  • MEM Guard-Forward #2
Ty Jerome (calf) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
The Grizzlies play on Thursday and Friday, so Jerome is highly unlikely to play both days. Javon Small is available and should play plenty, as Scotty Pippen Jr. has already been ruled out with a toe injury.
  • MEM Guard #23
Cedric Coward (knee) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Coward is on track to miss Thursday’s game for right knee injury management reasons. Jahmai Mashack and Rayan Rupert are players whose opportunities may increase if Coward does not play.
  • MEM Guard #4
Walter Clayton Jr. (ankle) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Clayton is on track to miss a second consecutive game due to a sprained right ankle. With Ty Jerome considered doubtful and Scotty Pippen Jr. out, the Grizzlies will likely turn to Javon Small to run the show on Thursday. He’s worth rolling the dice on in deep leagues.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl (illness) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (finger) are available for Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.
Poeltl and Jackson-Davis are back after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Rockets. The former’s return means that Sandro Mamukelashvili, who logged 30 minutes in Houston, will head to the bench. Also, Jonathan Mogbo likely falls out of the rotation entirely. TJD is also likely to be on the outside looking in when it comes to playing time.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (toe) is out for Thursday’s game against the Bucks.
Wiggins will miss a fourth straight game with a toe injury, likely resulting in another start for Myron Gardner. Gardner is not worth the risk in redraft leagues despite the role change.
  • MIA Center #7
Kel’el Ware (shoulder) is questionanble for Thursday’s game against the Bucks.
The impact of Ware’s absence on Tuesday may have been slightly skewed by Bam Adebayo going off for 83 points, as Miami’s starting center played 42 minutes. If Ware remains out, the Heat will likely have to go small a bit more often than they did against the Wizards.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (groin) is out for Thursday’s game against the Bucks.
At the time of his injury in late February, Powell was considered to be week-to-week. Pelle Larsson has moved into the starting lineup, but he has not been productive enough to merit rostering in most fantasy leagues. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Simone Fontecchio are superior streaming options where available.
  • OKC Center-Forward #7
Chet Holmgren (illness) and Alex Caruso (hip) are off the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Celtics.
Holmgren and Caruso are back after missing Monday’s win over the Nuggets. While the latter will slot into the Thunder’s bench rotation, the former’s return likely pushes Isaiah Joe out of the starting lineup.
