Larry Nance Jr. (calf) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pistons.
Nance has been out since November 28, and the Cavaliers have not provided a timeline for his return. The veteran forward’s continued absence does not affect fantasy basketball.

Keyonte George (ankle) is out for Thursday’s game against the Hawks.
George will sit out for the third consecutive game with an ankle injury. Isaiah Collier is coming off a 17-point, 22-assist performance in Tuesday’s win over the Pacers. Collier is worth streaming while George is out and figures to start again with Walter Clayton Jr. backing him up.
Davis trade bodes well for Wizards' near future
Eric Samulski discusses the trade that sent Anthony Davis from the Dallas Mavericks to the Wizards, and how, despite his injury troubles this season, his addition is promising for Washington's success next year.
  • ATL Center
The Hawks have reportedly acquired Jock Landale from the Jazz for cash considerations.
Landale, who was included in the deal that sent Jaren Jackson Jr. to Utah, is on the move for the second time in as many games. If he stays in Atlanta, the 6-foot-11 center may be able to offer tangible fantasy value in the short term, as Onyeka Okongwu and Kristaps Porziņǵis are both out due to injury. Those who held onto Landale after the Jazz trade should wait to see what happens before moving on.
  • UTA Guard #2
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Jazz have acquired Lonzo Ball and two future second-round picks from the Cavaliers.
For Cleveland, this trade is about freeing up salary cap space. And with the team acquiring James Harden, Keon Ellis and Dennis Schröder this week, there was not going to be room for Ball in the rotation. Given Utah’s youth and the presence of Keyonte George and Isaiah Collier on the roster, it’s unsurprising that the Jazz are expected to waive Ball, which would allow him to be an unrestricted free agent.
  • ORL Forward #22
Franz Wagner (ankle) is out for Thursday’s game against the Nets.
Wagner is set to miss his eighth game in a row with left high ankle sprain injury management. While there’s no clear timetable for his return, his next chance to play will come Saturday against the Jazz. Anthony Black will remain in the starting lineup until Wagner is ready to play.
  • LAC Center #40
Ivica Zubac (personal) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Zubac’s absence is not trade-related, according to multiple reports. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old center will miss Wednesday’s game against the Cavaliers for personal reasons. Brook Lopez could move into the starting lineup, but isn’t worth streaming in most fantasy leagues.
  • BKN Guard #30
Ochai Agbaji has been traded to the Nets.
Agbaji fell out of the rotation in Toronto, and now he’ll get a fresh start in Brooklyn. The former lottery pick should fill out some minutes on the wing, which could alter Ziaire Williams’ place in the rotation. Agbaji could end up making a large impact for fantasy managers during silly season, but he shouldn’t be rostered at this point.
  • TOR Guard #3
Chris Paul has been traded to the Raptors in a multi-team deal that will send Ochai Agbaji, a 2032 second-round pick and cash to the Nets and the rights to Vanja Marinkovic to the Clippers.
The Clippers “severed ties” with Paul two months ago, and while he technically has a new home, it likely isn’t a permanent one. The Raptors aren’t having CP3 report and could either trade or waive him. At 40 years old, Paul will likely look to find a contender to join, though it is unlikely he finds a team that will give him a large role.
  • BKN Guard #24
Cam Thomas (personal) has been ruled out against the Magic on Thursday.
Thomas has been playing a reserve role for Brooklyn recently, which has led to some decent scoring nights, though he hasn’t popped. Drake Powell and Ben Saraf should take on extra minutes with Thomas unavailable.
  • OKC Forward-Center #22
Thunder acquired Mason Plumlee in exchange for Ousmane Dieng.
Dieng has already been rerouted to Chicago. Plumlee will provide some depth down low, but he’s past his days of impacting fantasy basketball.
  • LAL Center-Forward #11
Jaxson Hayes has been suspended one game for pushing the Wizards’ mascot.
Hayes pushed the mascot before their game against the Wizards on Jan. 30. Jarred Vanderbilt and Maxi Kleber should fill out the backup center minutes for the Lakers.
