Ace Bailey (hip) is out for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Bailey returned to action after a five-game absence on Wednesday, playing 10 minutes off the bench in a loss to the Thunder. His absence for Thursday’s game will not affect the starting lineup, as Brice Sensabaugh will retain that spot. However, no Bailey should mean more playing time for Taylor Hendricks and Cody Williams.

Jaylen Brown (hamstring) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Bulls.
After playing 46 of a possible 58 minutes in Friday’s double-overtime win over the Nets, Brown is on track to play Saturday night. A lot can change between now and the 8 PM Eastern tip time, however, so fantasy managers need to keep an eye out for more injury updates. If Brown doesn’t play, Baylor Scheierman may remain in the starting lineup for another game.
Liffmann: DAL 'team to watch' in trade deadline
Grant Liffmann unpacks the current state of the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the NBA trade deadline, explaining why the team and Anthony Davis are among the ones to watch before the deadline hits.
  • MIA Guard #9
Pelle Larsson (finger) is available for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Larsson was initially listed as probable with a finger injury to his left hand, so his availability was expected Saturday. The 24-year-old guard should continue to start with Tyler Herro (rib) out, but he hasn’t proven to be a worthwhile streamer yet.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (back) is available for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Powell was on the injury report with a back injury for the second consecutive game, but the 32-year-old shooting guard won’t miss any time. Powell had 18 points in 28 minutes against the Trail Blazers on Thursday.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (reconditioning) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Markkanen is set to miss his seventh game in a row Saturday against the Heat. Cody Williams should continue to start in his place while Markkanen’s next chance for a return will come Tuesday against the Clippers. Williams isn’t worth streaming in most fantasy leagues.
  • CLE Guard #5
Sam Merrill (hand) is out for Saturday’s game against the Magic.
Merrill is set to miss his fifth consecutive game with a hand injury. Jaylon Tyson and Dean Wade should remain in the starting lineup with Merrill out while De’Andre Hunter continues to occupy a bench role.
  • CHI Forward #44
Patrick Williams (ankle) is available for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.
Williams was initially listed as probable with an ankle injury, so his availability isn’t much of a surprise. He returned from a two-game absence Thursday with five points and three rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench in the win over the Timberwolves. Williams isn’t worth rostering in most fantasy leagues.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey (hamstring) is available for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.
Giddey was initially listed as probable, so his availability doesn’t come as much of a surprise. The 23-year-old guard returned from a hamstring injury and came off the bench, playing 26 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Timberwolves. The Bulls could continue to deploy Giddey this way until he feels 100 percent.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić (illness) was upgraded to questionable for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Nurkić was initially listed as doubtful with an illness. With the 31-year-old center being upgraded to questionable Saturday, his odds of suiting up against the Heat have certainly improved. With his status still up in the air, though, Kyle Filipowski could move into the starting lineup and be worth streaming if Nurkić is ruled out prior to game-time.
  • CHA Center #11
The Hornets will start LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel, Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate against the Wizards on Saturday.
Kalkbrenner came off the bench in the Hornets’ win over the Magic on Thursday, but the 24-year-old rookie center played 27 minutes compared to starter Moussa Diabate’s 16 minutes. The Hornets’ Twitter account initially had Kalkbrenner in Saturday’s starting lineup, before correctly showing Diabate as the starter. Both centers will likely still play Saturday, but if Charlotte continues to give Kalkbrenner more minutes he could move into the starting lineup eventually.
  • WAS Forward #27
The Wizards will start Will Riley, Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson, Kyshawn George, and Alex Sarr against the Hornets on Saturday.
Riley moves into the starting lineup with Khris Middleton (foot) out. The 19-year-old forward is making the first start of his career. According to the Wizards, this is the youngest starting lineup in NBA history with an average age of 20.64 years old.
