  • DET Guard #2

The Athletic’s Hunter Patterson reports that Cade Cunningham (wrist), Jalen Duren (ankle) and Tobias Harris (hip) were all at Pistons practice on Wednesday.
All three players are currently dealing with injuries and have missed multiple games, but their practice status could mean they are closing in on a return. The Pistons’ next game is Thursday against the Suns, and they get two more home games after that - Saturday against the Pacers and Monday against the Celtics. Daniss Jenkins and Isaiah Stewart are the biggest fantasy beneficiaries of the trio’s continued absences.

Al Horford (toe) is not on the injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.
Horford started on Sunday, which was just his second start of the year. He doesn’t play back-to-backs, so he sat out on Monday but will return to play Utah. If he gets another start, Quinten Post will head back to the bench.
Warriors remaining aggressive to upgrade roster
Chris Mannix unpacks the latest surrounding the Warriors' trade deadline approach that, despite recent injuries, remains an "aggressive" one, while analyzing how Steph Curry falls into the equation.
  • PHX Guard #12
Collin Gillespie (hand) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Nets.
Gillespie was initially listed as questionable with a right hand sprain, but was ultimately ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Nets. With Jalen Green (hamstring) and Devin Booker (ankle) also sidelined, Jordan Goodwin and Grayson Allen should be in for heavy minutes against Brooklyn.
  • GSW Guard #0
Gary Payton II (calf) is probable to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
GPII is managing a right calf contusion, but he isn’t expected to miss this game as a result. He should play hos typical role off the bench, though that hasn’t led to much fantasy production from him this season.
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green (back) is probable to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Green was one of the Warriors regulars that sat out on Monday, which was the second night of a back-to-back. He is expected to return, which will push Gui Santos back to the bench.
  • GSW Guard #30
Stephen Curry (knee) is probable to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Curry missed Monday’s game against Minnesota, which was the second night of a back-to-back. He is expected to be back to take on Utah. Pat Spencer started in his place but will head back to the bench with Curry likely to return.
  • PHI Guard #5
Quentin Grimes (ankle) has been ruled out against the Bucks on Tuesday.
Grimes was a late addition to the injury report and has now officially been ruled out against Milwaukee. Justin Edwards and Eric Gordon should be in line to take on extra minutes, though neither has enough upside to consider streaming in.
  • OKC Guard #22
Cason Wallace (hip) has been ruled out against the Pelicans on Tuesday.
Wallace exited early from Sunday’s game, and he will remain out against New Orleans. With Alex Caruso (adductor) and Ajay Mitchell (abdominals) out as well, Aaron Wiggins should step into the starting lineup and have upside as a streaming option.
  • MEM Center #31
Jock Landale (personal) is not on the injury report against the Hornets on Wednesday.
Landale will be back after a one-game absence. Santi Aldama started in his place, but more often than not recently, Aldama has come off the bench, while Landale has started. That will likely happen against Charlotte, though even if it doesn’t, both players should play enough to provide standard league value.
  • SAS Forward #10
Jeremy Sochan (quad) is questionable to play against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Sochan could miss Wednesday’s game, but even when he’s been available recently, the former top-10 pick hasn’t seen the floor often. His potential absence won’t have much of an impact on the team’s rotation.
  • LAC Front Office
Joe Vardon of the Athletic reports the Clippers and president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank have agreed to a multiyear contract extension.
Contract details weren’t disclosed, though the extension is believed to be for four years. The 55-year-old front office executive has been the Clippers’ president since 2017 and took home the Executive of the Year award in 2020. Frank has navigated through some difficult issues already this season. The team drew criticism for his decision to send Chris Paul home in early December as well as the allegations that the organization circumvented the NBA’s salary cap rules by arranging a no-show job for superstar Kawhi Leonard. Frank and the Clippers have come out on the other side winning 15 of their last 18 games, making it the right time to announce his extension that had been in the works for awhile, according to Vardon.
