Christian Koloko started on Thursday and contributed six points (3-of-7 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block against the Rockets.
With Onyeka Okongwu (mouth) sidelined for this game, Koloko got his first start as a Hawk. With Okongwu ruled out for Saturday’s game against Indiana, he should get the nod again in what will be a more favorable matchup for him. Koloko didn’t do much scoring, but he was decent on the glass and was able to contribute defensively. He’ll hold streaming upside in another start against the Pacers, but managers shouldn’t expect a monster performance.

Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) is doubtful to play against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Brown finished with 33 points and 11 rebounds in Tuesday’s win over Dallas, but he is expected to sit out the second leg of this back-to-back. Sam Hauser (thumb) is out, which means there will be two open spots in the starting unit. Payton Pritchard should be back in the starting lineup, while either Jordan Walsh or Hugo Gonzalez should fill the other spot.
Allen, Gillespie carry Suns over Trail Blazers
Michael Grady and Brad Daugherty discuss the effort shown by the Phoenix Suns against the Portland Trail Blazers that saw Grayson Allen and Collin Gillespie set up with Devin Booker sidelined.
  • MIL Guard #50
Cole Anthony (ankle) is probable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Anthony is expected to suit up despite the left ankle sprain. He has played a small role off the bench recently, but with Kevin Porter Jr. (oblique) back, that may not continue. Anthony hasn’t been productive in those minutes either, so managers shouldn’t pay too much attention to his status.
  • MIL Forward #9
Bobby Portis (hip) has been ruled out against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
This will be a second consecutive absence for Portis, which led to Amir Coffey sliding into the starting lineup. Coffey didn’t make much of a contribution in the box score, but Kyle Kuzma had a fantastic performance and could provide an encore against New Orleans.
  • MIL Center-Forward #3
Myles Turner (ankle) is probable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Turner is managing a left ankle sprain, but that isn’t expected to alter his availability against New Orleans. He’ll occupy his typical role in the starting lineup and could see extra minutes with Bobby Portis (hip) sidelined.
  • MIL Guard-Forward #7
Kevin Porter Jr. (oblique) is not on the injury report against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said on Tuesday that KPJ was close to returning, and now that he’s off the injury report, he will make his return against New Orleans. Prior to this six-game absence, KPJ spent one game coming off the bench and could remain in that limited role in his return. Cole Anthony will lose minutes with Porter back.
  • NYK Center-Forward #23
Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is not on the injury report against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Robinson missed Tuesday’s game against Washington to ensure he was available for the tougher matchup against Denver. Ariel Hukporti will be pushed back out of the rotation with Robinson back.
  • DEN Guard #0
Christian Braun (ankle) is probable to play against the Knicks on Wednesday.
Braun made his return to the lineup against Detroit on Tuesday and immediately slotted in as a starter. He’s expected to be available once again, and he should see a similar workload after playing an unproductive 26 minutes against the Pistons.
  • NYK Guard #2
Miles McBride (ankle) has been ruled out against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
This will be a fifth straight absence for McBride, and they haven’t provided much of a timeline for when he could return. Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek should continue to take on extra minutes with McBride out.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart (ankle) is questionable to play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Hart exited early from Tuesday’s game against Washington and could end up missing this matchup with Denver. With his status up in the air, Landry Shamet could slide into the starting unit in place of Hart, which would allow him to be a decent source of triples.
  • SAS Forward-Center #8
Kelly Olynyk (foot) is questionable to play against the Thunder on Wednesday.
Olynyk could miss this game, but he hasn’t been part of the rotation for San Antonio since Victor Wembanyama returned to the lineup. With Wemby healthy, Olynyk’s status won’t impact the Spurs’ rotation.
