The Bulls acquired Dario Šarić and two second-round picks as the third team in the trade between the Cavaliers and Kings.

With the Kings acquiring De’Andre Hunter from the Cavaliers, a third team was needed to make the money work with Dennis Schröder and Keon Ellis heading to Cleveland. Enter Chicago, which willingly took Šarić while receiving two future second-round picks for their trouble. Šarić was out of the rotation for most of the season in Sacramento, but injuries may change that in Chicago, at least in the short term. While Nikola Vučević missed Saturday’s win over the Heat to rest, Jalen Smith has missed the last two games with a calf injury. This won’t make Šarić fantasy-relevant, but he may get the chance to contribute that wasn’t there in Sacramento. To open up a roster spot for the veteran forward/center, the Bulls are waiving Jevon Carter.

Jaxson Hayes (shoulder) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.

Hayes is back after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Grizzlies with a sore right shoulder. With Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr. out, he may start on Wednesday. Hayes isn’t the most reliable fantasy option, but the opportunity makes him worthy of a look in deep leagues.

Lauri Markkanen (wrist) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.

Markkanen is dealing with a sprained right wrist that he suffered Monday against the Grizzlies. Without Markkanen, Kyle Filipowski figures to see enough minutes to make him a worthwhile streamer.

Ajay Mitchell (ankle) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.

Initially questionable for Wednesday’s game, Mitchell is now available. Because of Oklahoma City’s injuries, he should be rostered in most redraft leagues. Mitchell is coming off his first 30-point game in Monday’s win over the Suns.

Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Aaron Gordon, Trevon Brazile and Nikola Jokić will start Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.

Brazile has gotten off to a good start in his rookie season, and he’s been rewarded with a spot in Wednesday’s starting lineup. He replaces fellow rookie Bryce Hopkins, who started Denver’s last two games.

Naji Marshall (illness) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.

Marshall is officially out after the Mavericks downgraded him to doubtful on Wednesday afternoon. This will be the second straight game he’s missed, and players like Walter Clayton Jr. and Caleb Martin could absorb the available minutes.

Kyrie Irving (knee) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.

Irving was initially listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder, but has since been cleared to play. After playing 33 minutes in Monday’s win over the Heat and having the day off Tuesday, Irving should be ready to go against one of the top defenses in the league.

Caleb Martin (thumb) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.

Martin will be available to make his season debut on Wednesday after missing time with a sprained right thumb. While he may slide into the Mavericks’ rotation, Martin isn’t worth rostering in redraft leagues.

Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Georges Niang, Yaxel Lendeborg and Draymond Green will start Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Gui Santos (knee) is out, opening a spot in the Warriors’ starting lineup. Niang fills the void, and he’s averaged 6.0 points per game in his first four appearances this season.

Jalen Williams (fibula, ankle) underwent successful surgery and will be re-evaluated prior to the end of the season.

Williams had only played three games this season before going down over the weekend and underwent successful surgery today. It would be a big boost to the Thunder if Jalen Williams were to return this season but the Thunder don’t have any reason to rush him back unless he’s fully ready to go.

The Toronto Raptors will start Immanuel Quickley, Ja’Kobe Walter, RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes, and Jakob Poeltl against the Magic on Friday.

Kawhi Leonard is out with knee soreness, so Ja’Kobe Walter will get the start against the Magic. He’s useful if you need some points and 3’s but he likely will not be much more than a deeper league guy. Look for Barnes, Quickley, and Barrett to pick up the slack without Kawhi.
