  • CLE Guard #5
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Sam Merrill (hamstring) is out for Friday’s game against the Mavericks.
Merrill was added to the injury report on Friday afternoon due to tightness in his left hamstring, and now he’s officially out. Keon Ellis will move into the starting lineup, which raises his fantasy ceiling. Ellis is worth streaming in deep leagues.
  • TOR Forward #3
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Brandon Ingram (heel) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
A late scratch on Monday, Ingram is back in the lineup for Wednesday’s matchup with the Clippers. His return likely bumps Ja’Kobe Walter to the bench, even though Immanuel Quickley is out.
Potential fixes to help curb tanking in the NBA
Grant Liffmann joins Chris Mannix to discuss the potential changes the NBA could make to help disincentivize tanking.
  • MIN Guard #8
Bones Hyland, Donte DiVincenzo, Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert to start Wednesday vs. the Rockets.
Hyland is set to make his fourth start of the season when Minnesota looks to collect another quality win. Hyland’s insertion into the starting lineup is likely a result of Ayo Dosunmu’s unavailability due to a calf injury. However, Hyland’s recent strong play is also worth mentioning; over his last four appearances, the sharpshooting guard is averaging 20.0 points and 3.3 three-pointers per game. He’ll have a chance for another productive game on Wednesday.
  • MIL Forward #9
Bobby Portis (wrist) will not play against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Portis was downgraded from questionable to out ahead of Wednesday’s contest in Portland, as the absence will mark the veteran forward’s fifth missed game of the season. He’s averaging 13.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest; Pete Nance could see an uptick in minutes with Portis unavailable.
  • LAC Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard (ankle) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
Leonard was initially listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but was ultimately ruled in for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors. Jordan Miller and Bennedict Mathurin will remain as bench players with Leonard in the starting lineup Wednesday.
  • WAS Forward #15
Bub Carrington, Will Riley, Bilal Coulibaly, Leaky Black and Julian Reese will start Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.
The Wizards have made two changes to their starting lineup for Wednesday’s game. Reese will start for the injured Tristan Vukčević, while Black steps in for Jamir Watkins, who will come off the bench. Reese has a 20-rebound game to his credit this season, and he’s worth streaming in deeper leagues for this matchup.
  • MIL Forward #18
Kyle Kuzma (Achilles) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Kuzma is set to miss his second game in a row with an Achilles injury. Jericho Sims will start in his place again. Sims had four points in 19 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Clippers, but could see more usage with Myles Turner (calf) and Bobby Portis out as well.
  • DAL Guard #10
Brandon Williams (concussion) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Williams is available after missing the last three games with a concussion. His return may result in fewer minutes for Ryan Nembhard, but both should be part of the Mavericks’ rotation.
  • MIL Center-Forward #3
Myles Turner (calf) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Turner popped up on the injury report as questionable with a calf injury Wednesday afternoon and was subsequently ruled out for the game against the Trail Blazers. The 30-year-old center has nursed this calf injury since before the All-Star break. Jericho Sims and Pete Nance will take on the center minutes with Turner and Bobby Portis sidelined.
  • CHI Center #13
Nick Richards (elbow) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
Richards, who started Wednesday’s game, is done for the night after nine first-half minutes due to a right elbow injury. With Jalen Smith (calf) also exiting before halftime, the Bulls inserted Patrick Williams and Isaac Okoro into the lineup to begin the third quarter. Richards finished with two points and five rebounds.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (shoulder) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Gafford left Monday’s game against the Warriors with a right shoulder sprain and was subsequently ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets. Marvin Bagley III is a prime candidate for more minutes and usage in Gafford’s absence Wednesday.
