Sims’s availability will help boost the Bucks’ rebounding, as he’s coming off a 20-rebound performance in Wednesday’s game against the Rockets. He won’t provide much value elsewhere as far as fantasy basketball is concerned, however.

As the No. 3 pick in the draft last month, there were high expectations for Boozer’s first summer league game, and he certainly looked the part of a franchise player. His scoring and passing ability were both on display early and often. It’s good for him to get these reps in, but he may only make a couple more appearances this summer. He should slot in as the starting power forward for Memphis on opening night and be one of the best rookies in fantasy basketball.

Coward didn’t have his most effective shooting performance in the first game of his second summer league, but that clearly wasn’t an issue during his rookie season. He was able to make an impact on the glass and defensively, while he shot 3-of-9 beyond the arc, he was 0-of-4 on two-point attempts. Coward shot 72.9 percent in the restricted area last season and 47 percent on two-pointers, so this shouldn’t be a lingering issue for him. He may not see many more appearances this summer.

Jones was waived by the Bulls on Tuesday, but he wasn’t without a team for too long. Milwaukee is rebuilding in the post-Giannis Antetokounmpo era, so Jones could realistically find meaningful minutes during the 2026-27 campaign. Despite the potential for an increased role with the Bucks, Jones should remain on the waiver wire during fantasy basketball drafts.

Richard looked on Friday like someone who’d logged legitimate NBA minutes before. He shot the ball efficiently, did some nice secondary playmaking, and was active defensively with his hands. But one of the most important takeaways from the contest was how productive Richard was from beyond the arc. He shot 4-of-5 from deep, which is big, considering the 33.5 percent of three-pointers he made last season as a rookie. If he can remain consistent from the three-point line, Richard should be able to find a bigger role next season on a team that currently has limited backcourt depth.

Carr, the Lakers’ 24th pick in the most recent NBA Draft, was the team’s best scorer on Friday. The bulk of his production came from beyond the arc, where he nearly converted half of his looks on double-digit attempts. He didn’t provide much else in terms of box score numbers. However, he could potentially grow into a role in the regular-season rotation if the level of shooting he displayed against Golden State is sustainable.

Lendenborg made quite the first impression on Friday in his first action as a pro. He led all Golden State scorers and tied a team high with four three-pointers, with all four triples coming in the first half. He also led the team in assists and was the only one to record at least one block and one steal before the final horn sounded. Lendenborg was selected with the 11th overall pick in this most recent draft. He’ll likely have a chance to be a rotation player from opening night on.

Reed’s first bit of NBA action was a fairly unspectacular one. He shot inefficiently but made it to double figures as a scorer, while his seven boards led all San Antonio players for the game. Reed was selected with the 26th pick in this year’s draft. Even if he finds minutes in a talented Spurs frontcourt this upcoming season, it’s unlikely he will provide much fantasy value.

Young was one of two Miami guards to reach the 20-point mark on Friday. He did so efficiently by converting more than half of his shot attempts and tying a team-high in three-pointers. He also made strong contributions as a passer in this game. Young has been with the Heat organization for one season, so his familiarity with the system should help him remain productive during the NBA Summer League. Given that he never played more than 10 minutes in any of his 14 appearances with the Heat last season, it’s unlikely he’ll have much fantasy relevance during the 2026-27 season.

Conwell’s Summer League debut was a good one. The 37th-overall pick of the 2026 draft was one of two Miami players to reach at least 20 points in the game. Despite some inefficient shooting, he got to the line frequently, which is where he scored nearly half of his points. Conwell was the only player taken in the recent draft by the Heat, so he could have a good chance of being the team’s focal point throughout the summer.

The veteran team will join his fifth NBA team after agreeing to a deal with the Jazz. Okogie, known for his defensive versatility, spent last season with the Rockets, where he averaged 4.5 points across 78 regular-season games. He’s unlikely to see significant enough playing time to produce at a level that is valuable for fantasy basketball next season.
