Mitchell Robinson (illness) is questionable for Wednesday’s Game 2 against the 76ers.
Robinson was added to the injury report Wednesday afternoon as questionable with an illness. The 28-year-old center had two points and four rebounds in 12 minutes off the bench in Monday’s 137-98 victory in Game 1. Ariel Hukporti could see more minutes if Robinson is ruled out.

Mitchell Robinson (illness) is probable for Friday’s Game 3 against the 76ers.
Added to the Knicks’ injury report on Wednesday afternoon, Robinson was held out of the Game 2 victory. His absence, combined with Karl-Anthony Towns getting into early foul trouble, led to Ariel Hukporti and Jeremy Sochan combining to play eight minutes, and the Knicks going without a true center at times. Robinson’s status for Game 3 will have added importance due to OG Anunoby’s right hamstring injury.
Trail Blazers have several offseason paths to take
Grant Liffmann and Jay Croucher assess what's next for the Trail Blazers following their 42-40 finish, where new ownership, head coach questions, and Deni Avdija's future loom over Portland's offseason.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart (thumb) is questionable for Friday’s Game 3 against the 76ers.
Hart sprained his left thumb during the second half of Wednesday’s Game 2 victory, returning to action after a trip to the locker room for a tape job. If he’s unable to play on Friday, the Knicks may have to rely more on Landry Shamet, who has been out of the rotation for most of the postseason.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (ankle, hip) is questionable for Friday’s Game 3 against the Knicks.
Ankle and hip injuries kept Embiid out of Wednesday’s Game 2 defeat. While Andre Drummond started, the 76ers were more effective with either Adem Bona or Dominick Barlow at the five, specifically to deal with the two-man game between New York’s Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. If Embiid remains out, expect to see more of Bona and Barlow.
  • CHA Head Coach
Hornets signed Charles Lee to a contract extension.
While the Hornets missed out on a playoff berth in Lee’s second season at the helm, the team was much-improved, especially after the calendar flipped to 2026. From January 3 onward, Charlotte went 33-15, finishing the regular season with a 44-38 record. Kon Knueppel finished second in Rookie of the Year voting, while multiple players made notable strides, including LaMelo Ball.
  • NYK Forward-Guard #8
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, OG Anunoby (hamstring) is considered day-to-day.
Anunoby injured his right hamstring during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s Game 2 win over the 76ers. He has since been diagnosed with a strain and will be considered day-to-day, with a questionable tag for Friday’s Game 3. If Anunoby can’t play, Miles McBride and Mitchell Robinson are potential replacements in the starting lineup.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart (thumb) finished Wednesday’s Game 2 win over the 76ers with five points (2-of-6 FGs), seven rebounds, six assists, three steals and one three-pointer.
Hart struggled with his shot in Game 2, making just one of his five three-point attempts. However, the Knicks don’t look to him for shooting, and Hart was once again effective as a rebounder and defender. More concerning than the poor shooting was the left thumb injury that Hart suffered during the second half. He still logged 44 minutes, getting the thumb taped during a timeout, but this injury could land Hart on the injury report ahead of Friday’s Game 3.
  • NYK Forward-Guard #8
OG Anunoby (hamstring) finished Wednesday’s Game 2 win over the 76ers with 24 points (9-of-17 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, four steals, one block and two three-pointers.
Anunoby has been on a roll recently, with his play among the reasons the Knicks have looked like the team best equipped to come out of the East. However, there is now a serious injury concern, as the versatile forward pulled up lame and asked out of Wednesday’s victory with about three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Anunoby was seen reaching for his right hamstring, and while the team had no information after the game, this is a concern. Anunoby suffered a strained hamstring during Game 2 of the Knicks’ 2024 second-round series against the Pacers, with his return for Game 7 lasting a few minutes before needing to exit. Miles McBride, Mitchell Robinson and Landry Shamet are potential replacements in the starting lineup if Anunoby has to miss time.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards had 12 points (5-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs in Game 2.
Edwards played 24 minutes off the bench in his second game back from a knee injury. He wasn’t particularly efficient with 12 points on 13 field goal attempts. The Timberwolves lost the first quarter by seven points and quickly fell out of the game in the second quarter. They’ll look to bounce back as the series shifts to Minnesota for Game 3 on Friday.
  • SAS Forward-Center #1
Victor Wembanyama had 19 points (7-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in the Spurs’ 133-98 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 2 on Wednesday.
Wembanyama had an excellent Game 2 as the Spurs won going away. The 22-year-old center played just 26 minutes with the game in hand in the second half, but still had 19 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks. The Spurs have evened the series heading into Game 3 in Minnesota on Friday.
  • MIN Guard #13
Ayo Dosunmu (heel) won’t return to Game 2 against the Spurs on Wednesday.
Dosunmu missed Game 1 with calf soreness and left Game 2 after 10 scoreless minutes with right heel pain. The 26-year-old guard was ruled out in the fourth quarter with the game out of reach. Dosunmu will have Thursday to recover ahead of Game 3 on Friday.
