NAW has had an incredible first season with the Hawks, but he has taken things up a notch in March. He has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last eight games and averaged 23.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 3.5 triples while shooting 53.6 percent from the floor, 50 percent from deep and 93 percent from the free throw line. He’s making a strong push for the Most Improved Player award and will look to stay hot against the Kings on Saturday.
CJ McCollum

CJ McCollum finished with 21 points (8-of-20 FGs), five rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers against the Celtics on Friday.

McCollum wasn’t able to match his 27-point effort from Wednesday’s win, but he was able to score at least 20 points for the fourth time in his last six games. This was only the Hawks’ third loss since the All-Star break, and McCollum has filled in well with this team, which has led to him having some productive outings for fantasy managers. He’ll look to keep it going against the Kings on Saturday.

Jalen Johnson led the Hawks with 29 points (9-of-21 FGs), six rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and five three-pointers in a 109-102 loss to the Celtics on Friday.

Johnson once again stuffed the stat sheet, though it wasn’t enough to keep Atlanta’s winning streak alive. However, he was able to match his career high for three-pointers in a game, and he has now hit at least two triples in nine consecutive games. Johnson continues to be one of the premier options in fantasy hoops, and with a favorable matchup against the Kings to wrap up the week on Saturday, he’ll look to be even more productive than he was in this game.

Landale was initially listed as questionable but has now officially been ruled out for this game. Mouhamed Gueye will likely fill out the backup center minutes behind Onyeka Okongwu with rookie Asa Newell in the G League.

McCollum has now had at least 23 points in four of his last seven games. The 34-year-old shooting guard has provided seventh-round per game value over the last two weeks. McCollum takes on more of a scoring role with Jalen Johnson back and gets two more chances to put up points with the Hawks playing four games this week.

Jalen Johnson had 27 points (9-of-18 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, 12 assists and two three-pointers in the Hawks’ 130-129 overtime victory over the Pistons on Wednesday.

Johnson returned from a two-game absence due to left shoulder inflammation and was excellent while playing 42 minutes in the overtime win over the Pistons Wednesday. The 24-year-old small forward was just two rebounds shy of a triple-double. The Hawks have two more games this week with a back-to-back against the Celtics and Kings on Friday and Saturday.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Onyeka Okongwu, Dyson Daniels, CJ McCollum and Jalen Johnson will start Wednesday vs. the Pistons.

Johnson (shoulder) will return from injury to provide a boost to Atlanta’s opening unit on Wednesday. The Hawks have won 13 of their past 14 games, which has led them to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference standings with 10 games left in their season. Each game will be of significance as they try to avoid the Play-In Tournament, making Johnson’s return all the more important.

Mouhamed Gueye has been starting in place of Johnson and would get another opportunity to start if Johnson remains out. Gueye had a double-double as a starter on Saturday but was quiet in Monday’s blowout win over the Grizzlies.
