Noah Penda amassed 12 points (2-of-6 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Heat.

While not as prolific offensively as he was in Thursday’s summer league opener, Penda once again recorded a complete stat line for the Magic. The lone negative in his performance against the Heat was the turnovers, as Penda committed six. However, the ability to contribute in multiple ways should serve the 2025 second-round pick well as he looks to earn consistent rotation minutes next season.
Colin Castleton

Colin Castleton tallied 15 points (5-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Heat.

Castleton signed another two-way contract with the Magic on July 1, and he’s hopeful that a strong summer league will put him on a path to earn more opportunities once the regular season begins. While he did not record any defensive stats in Saturday’s victory, the 6-foot-10 center was active on the glass and shot the ball well. While not a player who has to be selected in preseason drafts, there may come a point where Castleton offers deep-league streaming value due to injury.
Jase Richardson

ORL Guard #11

Jace Richardson accounted for 15 points (4-of-8 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, six assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Heat.

After a solid 15-point effort in his first action of the summer on Thursday, Richardson was even better on Saturday. In addition to shooting the ball well on all three levels, he did not commit a turnover and led the Magic in assists. Richardson didn’t get to play much last season, and a good run in Las Vegas is the first step toward ensuring that he’s in Orlando’s plans for 2026-27. At this rate, the Magic may decide that they’ve seen enough from the guard to shut him down for the remainder of summer league.
Izaiyah Nelson

Izaiyah Nelson finished with two points (1-of-4 FGs), six rebounds, one steal and one block against the Hornets on Thursday.

Nelson only played 19 minutes in his first summer league game, and while he was able to grab some boards and collect some defensive stats, he wasn’t able to contribute much else. He was able to rack up the rebounds in stocks at USF last season, which is enticing for dynasty managers. His role should increase as the summer continues.
Jase Richardson

Jase Richardson contributed 15 points (6-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, four assists, two steals and one three-pointer against the Hornets on Thursday.

Richardson didn’t play a ton as a rookie, but he’s an incredibly talented player. He should see his role increase in year two, though it likely won’t be large enough for him to hold any fantasy relevance. He was productive during his two summer league performances last year as well, and he may not see many more appearances in Las Vegas.
Noah Penda

Noah Penda led the Magic with 23 points (9-of-15 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks and five three-pointers in an 86-74 loss to the Hornets on Thursday.

Penda entered last season as a strong defensive prospect with some playmaking abilities, but the main concern was his scoring ability. He didn’t have a scoring strength. That held true as a rookie, so seeing him knock down five three-pointers and shoot 4-of-5 inside the arc is incredibly encouraging. Penda is worth keeping an eye on this summer since he could be a rotation piece for Orlando this season and has star upside in fantasy hoops.
Jonathan Isaac

Jonathan Isaac agreed to a one-year contract with the Magic, reports Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.

Isaac was waived by the Magic just days ago, but finds himself back where he started. The former No. 6 overall pick from the 2017 NBA Draft, Isaac’s career has been a story of him mostly battling knee injuries. It’s unclear what his market was around the league, but Isaac decided his best path forward was to return to the Magic.
Jevon Carter

ORL Guard #2

Jevon Carter has agreed to a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Magic, reports ESPN’s Shams Charania.

An eight-year NBA veteran, Carter joined the Magic after he was waived by the Bulls in February. He averaged 7.2 points and 2.3 assists in 20.7 minutes per game with Orlando. Carter figures to reprise his role as bench depth at point guard behind Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black.
Nikola Vučević

Nikola Vučević has agreed on a one-year, $3.9 million contract with the Magic, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Vučević previously spent nine seasons with the Magic earlier in his career. More recently, the 35-year-old center saw his production fall off drastically after a midseason trade to the Celtics last season. Vučević’s playoff production was limited to the point where the Celtics benched him for Game 7 as they lost a series against the 76ers. Vooch was a top-50 player and a bonafide starter as recently as two years ago with the Bulls. With the Magic only paying him $3.9 million at this stage of his career, he could be ticketed for a lesser role in Orlando.
Izaiyah Nelson

Wizards selected Izaiyah Nelson with the No. 51 pick in the NBA Draft and traded his rights to the Magic.

After spending his first three seasons at Arkansas State, Nelson had his most productive campaign at South Florida as a senior. In 34 games, the 6-foot-8 forward/center racked up the individual awards, earning American Conference Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honors. While Nelson is undersized for a post player, he makes up for it with an elite motor and willingness to compete as a rebounder and defender. Nelson gives the Magic another option to call upon in the frontcourt, which could prove valuable if free agent Moritz Wagner does not return.
