Queta, who was upgraded to probable earlier Sunday, is now officially available. He’ll take on his usual role as the Celtics’ starting center, with Luka Garza providing depth off the bench.

White was initially listed as questionable with a knee contusion and has since been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Hornets. Last year’s Sixth Man of the Year Payton Pritchard will move into the starting lineup, replacing White.

Brown will miss a second consecutive game due to left Achilles tendinitis. Baylor Scheierman started Friday’s win over the Hawks, finishing with three points, six rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer. The second-year guard’s production was underwhelming, but he has consistently been the replacement in the starting lineup when either Brown or Jayson Tatum is unavailable.

Jayson Tatum (Achilles) and Neemias Queta (thumb) are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Hornets.

The Celtics play on Sunday and Monday, so Tatum is likely to sit out one of the team’s next two games. Hugo González could see his playing time increase with Tatum unavailable, but he is not a must-stream player. As for Queta, Luka Garza is the player whose opportunities would increase if the Celtics don’t have their starting center.

Brown did not play in Friday’s win over the Hawks, with Baylor Scheierman moving into the starting lineup. Another start could be in the card for Scheierman at some point, as the Celtics play on Sunday and Monday. As for White, he’s dealing with a knee contusion, with Payton Pritchard being the lineup replacement if White is unable to play.

Baylor Scheierman started on Friday and contributed three points (1-of-3 FGs), six rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer against the Hawks.

Scheierman got the starting nod with Jaylen Brown (Achilles) sidelined for this game. He played 26 minutes, but he wasn’t able to contribute much in the box score, outside of a decent effort on the glass. Still, Scheierman has had strong nights as a starter this year, so if Brown ends up missing more than just this game, Scheierman could remain a starter and have upside as a streamer. They have a back-to-back on Sunday and Monday, and it would be surprising if Brown played both legs.
Jayson Tatum

Jayson Tatum recorded a double-double on Friday with 26 points (8-of-24 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists and two three-pointers against the Hawks.

Tatum’s field goal percentage continues to be an issue, but he was able to make up for it in other ways in this game. He set a new season high for scoring in this game, and he recorded his third straight double-double. It’s only been 10 games, but he has been better on the glass than he has ever been in his career. He’ll continue to get better as he plays more games, and his availability is going to give the Celtics to make a deep run in the playoffs.
Payton Pritchard

BOS Guard #11

Payton Pritchard led the Celtics with 36 points (13-of-23 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists, six three-pointers and five turnovers in a 109-102 win over the Hawks on Friday.

Pritchard stepped up on the offensive end with Jaylen Brown (Achilles) sidelined. He had his second-highest scoring performance of the season, surpassed only by his 42-point outing in November. Pritchard has been productive all season, though he hasn’t been as explosive as a reserve. This was a fantastic performance for him, but managers shouldn’t expect him to put together outings like this one often. However, if Brown continues to miss time, Pritchard could receive a short-term boost.
