We’ll take a look at Monday’s five-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET.
POINT GUARD
Fred VanVleet - Toronto (at Charlotte) - DK: $8,500 / FD: $8,600 / Yahoo: $37
VanVleet is expensive, but he has been an absolute fantasy machine with 41+ fantasy points in four straight. There’s a good chance he’ll top that while flirting with 50 FP tonight. The matchup is that good, as Charlotte ranks second in pace and 28th in team defensive efficiency. It doesn’t hurt that VanVleet is seeing a ton of minutes with 38+ five straight. That should give him more than enough opportunities to capitalize on the advantageous draw.
Also Consider: Kyle Lowry, Tre Mann

SHOOTING GUARD
Josh Giddey - Oklahoma City (vs. Golden State) - DK: $7,800 / FD: $6,500 / Yahoo: $28
Giddey has been a staple in the NBA GPP Pivots column this season, but I like him as a cash game pillar tonight. The rookie is seeing a full 36+ minute workload, which has translated to 36+ fantasy points in three of his last five. Giddey has a well-rounded game with the ability to produce in every statistical category. He has flexed 40+ FP upside several times this season, even breaking out for 63 FP against the Mavericks in early January. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is still out for OKC, and Lu Dort is questionable. There’s a chance Giddey will have a heightened usage rate tonight. Keeping that in mind, he’s way too cheap on FanDuel and Yahoo.
Also Consider: Devin Booker, Gary Trent
SMALL FORWARD
Miles Bridges - Charlotte (vs. Toronto) - DK: $7,700 / FD: $7,000 / Yahoo: $32
Bridges has noticed a few disappointing performances over the last two weeks. That has pulled his salary down to a manageable level. Bridges still carries outstanding upside in his fantasy profile, flexing 53+ fantasy points three times over the past two weeks. So what’s the move tonight? I believe we’ll see the best of Bridges in this high-scoring matchup against Toronto. Bridges only needs an average game (37.56 FP) to reach value, and we know he’s capable of so much more.
Also Consider: Scottie Barnes, Bojan Bogdanovic
POWER FORWARD
Pascal Siakam - Toronto (at Charlotte) - DK: $9,200 / FD: $9,700 / Yahoo: $42
This Toronto-Charlotte game represents the best fantasy environment of the night. I have no problem taking multiple options from both sides. I’ll be looking towards Siakam or Barnes in the Toronto frontcourt, but the former is definitely my top choice. Siakam is averaging 50 FPPG over his last eight games. The Hornets rank second in pace, 29th in defensive efficiency to power forwards, and 29th in rebound rate. The last time these two teams met (Jan. 25), Siakam came through with 53 FP.
Also Consider: Julius Randle, Darius Bazley
CENTER
Mamadi Diakite - Oklahoma City (vs. Golden State) - DK: $3,700 / FD: $3,900 / Yahoo: $10
Oklahoma City is banged up at the moment. That especially holds true in the frontcourt where Isaiah Roby, Mike Muscala, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl are all out. That has opened the door for Diakite to see quality playing time, and he has made the most of it with a cool 27 minute and 25 fantasy point average over his last two games. His salary still hovers around the minimum despite that uptick, so Diakite makes for a fine bargain prospect.
Also Consider: Montrezl Harrell
POTENTIAL BARGAINS
Tre Mann (PG - OKC) and Darius Bazley (PF - OKC) are two other injury replacements expected to step up for Oklahoma City. Mann has looked good while helping fill the void with Gilgeous-Alexander out. That includes a 35 minute and 25 fantasy point average over his last three … Bazley has been more efficient with his increased opportunities. He’s averaging 36 minutes and 32 fantasy points over his last three, looking like a strong mid-range bargain on all DFS sites.
Bojan Bogdanovic (SF - UTA) will need to keep stepping up in the Utah frontcourt given that Joe Ingles and Rudy Gobert are still out. On top of that, Jordan Clarkson and Rudy Gay are questionable. Bogdanovic should be involved regardless of their status, but it wouldn’t hurt his usage if either missed this game. Bogdanovic is averaging 32 FPPG over his last three games, as his points and rebounds have seen an uptick in the wake of Utah’s injury situation.
