ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Jeremy Sochan and the Spurs have agreed on a release that will make him a free agent.

Sochan most recently played the final four minutes of Saturday’s win over the Mavericks. The 2022 lottery pick has not been in the Spurs’ rotation on most nights, prompting rumors before the trade deadline that the forward was hoping to be moved. Once he clears waivers, Sochan will become an unrestricted free agent. In 28 games this season, he averaged 4.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 12.8 minutes per appearance.
