Rick Adelman arrived in Minnesota on Monday to help the Wolves prepare for the draft.
This is yet another bit of evidence that Adelman will return as the Wolves’ coach, which has been the expectation ever since the 2012-13 season ended. Minnesota has four draft picks this year, including the No. 9 pick.

Devin Booker had 25 points (9-of-19 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and two three-pointers in the Suns’ 99-98 victory over the Warriors on Thursday.
Booker was just 2-of-6 from behind the three-point line against the Warriors on Thursday after missing all five of his three-point attempts against the Lakers on Sunday. The 29-year-old shooting guard is still finding his three-point shot since returning from a groin injury two games ago. The Suns finish up the week with a rematch with the Warriors on Saturday.
Highlights: Doncic powers Lakers past Jazz
Luka Doncic grinds out 45 points to help Los Angeles get a road win against Utah.
  • UTA Guard #3
Keyonte George had 34 points (9-of-20 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs), four rebounds, eight assists, and five three-pointers against the Lakers.
George had his third consecutive game with at least 30 points against the Lakers Thursday. The 22-year-old point guard was excellent, draining five three-pointers for the third straight game as well. George has been a fantasy steal this year as one of the most improved players in the league. The Jazz finish up the week with a game against the Magic on Saturday.
  • LAL Forward #23
LeBron James had 28 points (8-of-17 FGs, 12-of-13 FTs), seven rebounds, 10 assists and one steal against the Suns on Thursday.
While Luka Doncic will garner the most headlines for his 45-point triple-double with five steals, LeBron was pretty solid in this game too. The soon-to-be 41-year-old small forward had 28 points and was just three rebounds shy of a triple-double himself. James and the Lakers finish up a two-game week Saturday against the Clippers.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić had 45 points (14-of-28 FGs, 13-of-16 FTs), 11 rebounds, 14 assists, five steals and four three-pointers in the Lakers’ 143-136 victory over the Jazz on Thursday.
Dončić was relentless against the Jazz on Thursday. The 26-year-old point guard dropped haymaker after haymaker on his way to 45 points in the victory. Dončić also had 11 rebounds and 14 assists on his way to a triple-double. He joined Cade Cunningham as the only players since steals became official to have a 45-point triple-double with five steals. Dončić only had one turnover in the contest, leaving managers in nine-category leagues nothing to complain about with his performance.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham had 29 points (12-of-30 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, nine assists, one block and two three-pointers against the Mavericks on Thursday.
Cunningham was just one assist shy of a triple-double in the overtime loss to the Mavericks on Thursday. The 24-year-old point guard was dueling with Cooper Flagg down the stretch and in to overtime, but the Pistons couldn’t pick up the victory. Cunningham had another four turnovers in this game and remains more valuable in eight-category leagues.
  • DAL Forward-Center #3
Anthony Davis had 15 points (7-of-18 FGs), 14 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one three-pointer against the Pistons on Thursday.
Davis was initially questionable with a calf injury after missing Monday’s loss to the Jazz. The 32-year-old power forward ended up playing 37 minutes in the overtime win over the Pistons. Davis continues to be in and out of the lineup with injuries, but he was able to showcase his skills against one of the contending teams that might be interested in trading for him against the Pistons Thursday. Dallas will be back in action on Saturday against the 76ers.
