  • MIN Shooting Guard #6

The Timberwolves have signed Nick Wiggins to a non-guaranteed training camp deal.
Yes, he is Andrew Wiggins’ brother. No, he’s not likely to make the team or have any fantasy value.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21

Joel Embiid (appendicitis) is doubtful for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Celtics.
As was the case ahead of Game 3 on Friday, Embiid is considered doubtful on the 76ers’ initial injury report. If he can return, Embiid’s return would mean fewer minutes for Adem Bona and Andre Drummond. However, his minutes are likely to be restricted whenever the former MVP is deemed healthy enough to play.
Magic show great resolve in Game 3 win vs. Pistons
Michael Grady, Austin Rivers, and Robbie Hummel discuss the resolve shown by the Orlando Magic after the Detroit Pistons erased a 17-point deficit to close in, with the latter ultimately falling short in Game 3.
  • PHI Forward-Guard #9
Kelly Oubre (adductor) is questionable for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Celtics.
Oubre, who logged 40 minutes in Game 3 on Friday, is dealing with a sore right adductor. If he cannot play on Sunday, Quentin Grimes is the player most likely to move into the starting lineup.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham had 27 points (8-of-23 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, nine assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 3 loss to the Magic.
Cunningham and the Pistons mounted a 26-10 run in the fourth quarter to take the lead by one, but they couldn’t hold it and fell to the Magic 113-105. Cunningham carried the Pistons’ offense, but also was just 3-of-10 from behind the three-point line and had nine turnovers. Detroit is hoping to avoid falling behind 3-1 in Game 4 on Monday.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren had eight points (3-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist and five blocks in Saturday’s Game 3 loss to the Magic.
Duren has scored eight, 11 and eight points in the first three games of this series. It’s the first time all season that he’s scored below 15 points in three consecutive games. Duren will have to get going if the Pistons are going to come back in this series. His next chance will come Monday in Game 4.
  • ORL Forward #22
Franz Wagner had 17 points (7-of-18 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday’s Game 3 win over the Pistons.
Wagner wasn’t efficient with 17 points on 18 attempts, but he had back-to-back clutch baskets late in the game that helped stop a storming Pistons comeback. He’s been effective late in both of the Magic’s wins in the series so far. Orlando will take a 2-1 series lead into Game 4 on Monday.
  • TOR Guard #0
A.J. Lawson (back) is questionable for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Cavaliers.
Lawson, who played just two minutes in Thursday’s Game 3 win over the Cavaliers, is dealing with back spasms. His availability does not significantly affect the Raptors’ perimeter rotation, even with Immanuel Quickley out for the rest of the series.
  • ORL Guard #3
Desmond Bane had 25 points (9-of-18 FGs), seven rebounds, one steal and seven three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 3 win over the Pistons.
Bane helped the Magic build a lead in this game. He made his seventh three-pointer at the beginning of the fourth quarter to put the Magic up by 11. Orlando squandered what was a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter before coming back and winning anyway. Game 4 against the Pistons is on Monday.
  • ORL Forward #5
Paolo Banchero had 26 points (6-of-17 FGs, 11-of-14 FTs), 12 rebounds, nine assists, three steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in the Magic’s 113-105 victory over the Pistons in Game 3 on Saturday.
Banchero was excellent in the Game 3 win over the Pistons on Saturday, especially in the biggest moments of the game. With a five point lead and less than a minute remaining in regulation, the 23-year-old power forward shot a three-pointer from the top of the key that bounced in after hitting the back of the rim and going straight up. It put the game away for Orlando as they took a 2-1 series lead. The Magic will be at home for Game 4 on Monday as they look to extend their lead in the series.
  • PHX Guard #8
Grayson Allen (hamstring) is available for Game 3 against the Thunder on Saturday.
Allen picked up DNP-CDs in each of the first two games of the series. It wouldn’t be a surprise if that’s the case again, even with Jordan Goodwin (calf) already ruled out for Game 3 against the Thunder on Saturday.
  • PHX Guard #23
Jordan Goodwin (calf) is out for Game 3 against the Thunder on Saturday.
Goodwin hurt his calf five minutes into Game 1 of the series against the Thunder and hasn’t played since. Even with Goodwin sidelined in Game 2, Grayson Allen got a DNP-CD again. Collin Gillespie moved into the starting lineup for Game 2 and had seven points in 29 minutes. Expect Gillespie to start again with Goodwin still out.
