John Collins amassed 17 points (7-of-10 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 12 rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Lakers.
With Ivica Zubac leaving Saturday’s game during the first half, there was a greater need for production from Collins. He answered the call, recording his first double-double of the season. Overall, Collins has been a disappointment in fantasy basketball, but he has been a top-100 player in eight-cat formats over the last two weeks. If Zubac misses time, Collins stands to benefit, and Brook Lopez (11 points, five rebounds, two blocks and three three-pointers in 25 minutes) should as well.
