16-year NBA veteran Rasheed Wallace has agreed to a deal to become an assistant coach at the University of Memphis under fellow NBA veteran Penny Hardaway, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Wallace was hired as the head coach at Charles E Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina in 2019 after taking a hiatus from coaching after his lone season as an assistant in Detroit for the 2013-2014 season. Wallace will now dabble in the college ranks and join a staff that also features former Pistons head coach Larry Brown. Brown coached Wallace in Detroit and the two won the 2004 NBA title together and will now try to bring some hardware to Memphis.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points (8-of-12 FGs, 15-of-26 FTs) with 11 rebounds, five assists, and a steal in Wednesday’s Bucks-Hawks matchup.
Antetokounmpo lived at the free throw line in a blowout loss and left a lot of points at the charity stripe. His scoring and shooting efficiency are all-time highs and he’s consistently been an elite fantasy player all 2024-25.
  • MIA Center #13
Bam Adebayo finished Wednesday’s Heat-Lakers game with 14 points (6-of-8 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, seven assists, a steal, and a block.
Adebayo has now recorded four double-doubles in his previous five games. While the big man’s scoring is down, his rebounding and playmaking has been strong alongside his defense.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro scored 31 points (11-of-19, 0-of-1 FTs) alongside five rebounds, four assists, a steal, and nine three-pointers in Wednesday’s Heat-Lakers game.
Herro has scored 31 points twice in three December outings and matched his second-highest total for three-pointers made in a contest. The Heat guard has blossomed in into Miami’s leading scorer.
  • LAL Power Forward #3
Anthony Davis scored eight points (3-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs) with seven rebounds, five assists, and a steal in the Lakers’ latest loss to the Heat.
Davis snapped his double-double streak and shot under 30% from the field for a second consecutive contest. He’s put up poor numbers against a pair of highly-touted defensive centers and has faded after getting off to a strong start to the year.
  • PHI Point Guard #20
Jared McCain tallied 24 points (10-of-17 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes in Wednesday’s 106-102 loss to the Magic.
McCain was back in the starting lineup on Wednesday, and the rookie was Philadelphia’s best performer by a considerable margin. The 24 points were the most he’s scored in a game since November 22, when McCain dropped 30 on the Nets. Paul George (knee) should be available for Friday’s rematch with Orlando, which will likely drop McCain to the bench. He’s worth rostering regardless of role, but fantasy managers would be thrilled if McCain were moved into the starting lineup permanently.
  • PHI Power Forward #28
Guerschon Yabusele accumulated 15 points (6-of-7 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Orlando.
Yabusele’s rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues, and he’s been solid on most nights this season. The value provided hasn’t been great, but the opportunity in front of the “Dancing Bear” makes him worth the risk in deep leagues. Yabusele’s minutes will be impacted most by Joel Embiid, who remains sidelined with a knee injury.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey accounted for 16 points (7-of-19 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 38 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Magic.
Maxey had a rough night from beyond the arc, missing all seven attempts. Add in four turnovers, the second time in four games he’s reached that number, and this was a disappointing performance from Maxey. The inconsistent availability of Paul George and Joel Embiid doesn’t help, but the 76ers (and fantasy managers) need Maxey to play better regardless of who’s on the court with him.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. played 35 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Magic, accumulating 15 points (5-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, five assists, two steals, and four 3-pointers.
Rostered in 29% of Yahoo leagues, Oubre has been a fixture in the 76ers’ starting lineup outside of three mid-November games in which Caleb Martin replaced him. However, playing starters’ minutes hasn’t boosted Oubre’s fantasy value, as he remains ranked outside the top 150 in 9-cat formats. Even with Paul George and Joel Embiid dealing with their health issues, Oubre is a deep-league option at best.
  • ORL Point Guard #4
Jalen Suggs finished Wednesday’s win over Philadelphia with 17 points (6-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, six assists, three steals, and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
While Suggs hasn’t shot the ball great recently, making 40.9% of his attempts over the past two weeks, the overall fantasy value remains solid. He’s been a top-100 player during this stretch and remains a top-75 player for the season. Orlando will play another game in Philadelphia on Saturday to conclude their current road trip.
  • ORL Power Forward #1
Jonathan Isaac (right leg cramp) accounted for 14 points (6-of-8 FGs), four rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and two 3-pointers in 15 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the 76ers.
Isaac was forced to exit Wednesday’s game to receive treatment for leg cramps, a welcome injury designation given his injury history. The negative was that he played as well as he has in any game this season before the exit. Even with the limited minutes, Isaac can be a valuable option in deep leagues. But the injuries have made him difficult to trust.
