The Jazz will not extend Eric Paschall a qualifying offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.
The Jazz will be looking to shake things up this offseason with a new head coach, so it’s no surprise to see them opt for more flexibility. Paschall is coming off a quiet season in Utah, averaging just under 13 minutes per game.

Daniel Gafford (ankle) is available for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Gafford is available after initially being questionable for Thursday’s game. If his right ankle gives the center any difficulty, the Mavericks would then turn to Dwight Powell and Moussa Cissé to pick up the slack.
Who will step up for Thunder with SGA injured?
Noah Rubin talks about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander being sidelined until after the All-Star break because of an abdominal strain, revealing some players who could step up for the Thunder in Gilgeous-Alexander's absence.
  • DAL Guard #10
Brandon Williams (leg) is out for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Williams remains out for a second straight game due to a lower right leg contusion. Due to the trades Dallas executed before the trade deadline, they’ll rely even more on Cooper Flagg and Ryan Nembhard as the primary playmakers.
  • CHA Forward #31
Tidjane Salaün (illness) is out for Thursday’s game against the Rockets.
Thursday’s game will be the third that Salaün has missed due to illness. His continued absence does not affect fantasy basketball, as the second-year forward has played limited minutes when available.
  • MIL Guard #11
Gary Harris (hamstring) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Pacers.
Harris has missed the last two games, which has led to more minutes for Gary Trent Jr. Besides that, Harris’ availability does not affect fantasy basketball.
  • MIL Forward #9
Bobby Portis (hip) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Pacers.
Portis did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Pelicans, resulting in Amir Coffey moving into the starting lineup. However, Coffey played 25 minutes while Jericho Sims played 28 off the bench. The former is the safer streaming option if Portis remains out.
  • DET Forward #12
Tobias Harris (hip) is out for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Harris’ sore left hip will keep him out of Thursday’s game, with a home matchup against the Knicks looming on Friday. Isaiah Stewart will move into the starting lineup, joining Cade Cunningham, Duncan Robinson, Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham (wrist) is available for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Initially questionable for Thursday’s game, Cunningham is good to go. He’ll take on his usual role as the Pistons’ starting point guard. And with this matchup in particular, Cunningham managers must ensure that he’s in their active lineups.
  • IND Center #11
Micah Potter (hip) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Bucks.
After playing 11 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Rockets, Potter was held out of Tuesday’s loss to the Jazz. While there should be rotation minutes available on Friday if he plays, how much action he sees will depend in part on the Pacers’ plans for new addition Ivica Zubac, and if he’s with the team by then.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam (rest) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Bucks.
Siakam did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Jazz, as it was the Pacers’ second game of a back-to-back. With Spicy P back in the fold, Jarace Walker is most likely headed to the bench. Walker will still play rotation minutes, and his fantasy ceiling will be higher as the season progresses, given the Pacers’ focus on rebuilding.
  • IND Guard-Forward #23
Aaron Nesmith (hand) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Bucks.
Nesmith did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Jazz, as it was Indiana’s second game in as many nights. His return will push Ben Sheppard to the bench. Not offering much streaming when inserted into the starting lineup, Sheppard is not worth holding onto in most leagues.
