According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, free agent center LaMarcus Aldridge will work out for the Mavericks on Tuesday.
Despite having Dwight Powell, Christian Wood, and JaVale McGee, the Mavericks are exploring the possibility of adding Aldridge. His name, along with that of Dwight Howard, was mentioned as a possibility for the Mavericks in September, but no move was made. Now Aldridge will go through an official workout with the team. He appeared in 47 games (12 starts) for the Nets last season, averaging 12.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in 22.3 minutes.

Mouhamed Gueye was elected from Monday’s game against the Timberwolves with 11:30 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Gueye was tossed for his role in an altercation with Timberwolves forward Naz Reid, who was also ejected. The third-year forward played 20 minutes off the bench, finishing with 10 points, seven rebounds and one three-pointer.
How efficient will Thomas be with the Bucks?
Eric Samulski gives advice to fantasy managers interested in Cam Thomas now that the guard is expected to rack up heavy minutes for the Bucks after leaving the Nets.

Naz Reid was ejected from Monday’s game against the Hawks with 11:30 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Reid and Hawks forward Mouhamed Gueye got into an altercation early in the fourth quarter, as the latter pushed the former to set things off. Both players were ejected for their actions. Reid finished with seven points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one blocked shot in 21 minutes.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 33 points (12-of-27 FGs), nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two three-pointers in a 110-104 win over the Hornets on Monday.
Cunningham didn’t do much in Friday’s win over the Knicks, though that was mostly due to the lopsided score, which limited his minutes. However, he was able to respond with a strong performance to help end the Hornets’ winning streak. Cunningham’s 33 points were the most he has scored in a game since November. He’ll look to stay hot in Detroit’s final game before the All-Star break in Toronto on Wednesday.
  • DET Forward #7
Paul Reed came off the bench and contributed 12 points (3-of-5 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Hornets on Monday.
Reed was able to play a larger role for a second straight game. The first was because Jalen Duren (knee) was sidelined. For this one, it was because both Duren and Isaiah Stewart were ejected for their involvement in a brawl. Managers should expect both Duren and Stewart to face suspensions, and Stewart’s could be lengthy. Reed is rostered in just one percent of Yahoo! leagues, and he should be worth streaming against the Raptors on Wednesday.
  • LAL Center #5
Marcus Smart, Jake LaRavia, LeBron James, Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton will start Monday’s game against the Thunder.
The lone change to the lineup is Ayton, who returns after sitting out Saturday’s win over the Warriors. As a result of his return, Jaxson Hayes will come off the bench. Austin Reaves is still under a limit of 25 minutes, so Hachimura remains with the starters.
  • OKC Guard-Forward #8
Cason Wallace, Luguentz Dort, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein will start Monday’s game against the Lakers.
Monday’s game is the first for J-Dub since January 17, when he strained his hamstring during a loss to the Heat. Due to Williams’ return, Aaron Wiggins will come off the bench, with his fantasy value taking a hit.
  • MEM Guard-Forward #2
Ty Jerome, Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, GG Jackson and Kyle Anderson will start Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Jerome is back after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Trail Blazers and will start, pushing Scotty Pippen Jr. to the bench. Also, the Grizzlies remain without Santi Aldama, which means Anderson will get another start as the small-ball center. With Coward and Wells back, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jahmai Mashack will come off the bench.
  • PHI Guard-Forward #12
Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre, Trendon Watford and Andre Drummond will start Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
The 76ers are without Dominick Barlow and Joel Embiid for Monday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Watford and Drummond have been tabbed to fill the voids, and both are worth streaming in deep leagues.
  • PHI Forward #25
Dominick Barlow (illness) has been ruled out against the Trail Blazers on Monday.
Philadelphia will be shorthanded for this game with both Barlow and Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined. Trendon Watford should enter the starting lineup in place of Barlow, and he had some decent outings as a starter earlier in the year, giving him some upside as a streamer.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (knee) is out for Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Embiid will miss the final game of Philadelphia’s road trip due to right knee injury management. As a result, Andre Drummond likely slots in as the starting center, with Adem Bona serving as the backup.
