Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a line of 26 points (12-of-22 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, 13 assists, one steal, and two blocks in 38 minutes in Monday’s 119-114 loss to the Heat.
After missing most of Game 1 and all of Games 2 and 3 with a lower back contusion, Antetokounmpo was back in the lineup for Game 4 Monday night. He shot the ball well and recorded his third career playoff triple-double, but Giannis was also responsible for six of the Bucks’ 14 turnovers. While there were times when he appeared to be laboring some, and the Bucks made sure to get him treatment during timeouts, Antetokounmpo was able to play 38 minutes. With the Bucks one loss away from elimination, they’ll need even more from their star forward in Game 5 Wednesday night. Bobby Portis played 13 minutes off the bench in his return to a reserve role, finishing with five points, four rebounds, and one 3-pointer.
