Brook Lopez finished Wednesday’s 119-116 loss to the Celtics with 28 points (12-of-18 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
Lopez was the most efficient of Milwaukee’s four double-digit scorers on Wednesday, as he was the only one to shoot at least 50% from the field. The 28 points matched his total from the prior two games combined, and this was also his first 20-point outing of the season. Also, the veteran center has blocked at least one shot in each of his last 13 games, with the decision to use more drop coverage when Lopez is on the court paying off. He’s providing solid 3rd-round value in 9-cat formats, well above his Yahoo ADP of 71. Khris Middleton, who remains on a minutes restriction, finished Wednesday’s loss with 12 points (4-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in a season-high 29 minutes. Managers who have him rostered should remain patient, as the minutes continue to increase.
