Anthony Edwards (right hip contusion) logged 28 minutes in Tuesday’s 106-103 win over the Thunder, scoring 21 points (7-of-16 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs) with five rebounds, one assist, one block, and three 3-pointers.
Edwards exited the game during the third quarter with an apparent hip injury and did not return. Given the various injuries he’s played through in the past, that’s a bit concerning for managers who have Ant Man rostered. He still provided value in the points, rebounds, and 3-point categories, so all wasn’t lost fantasy-wise. Troy Brown Jr. (17 points, three rebounds, and three 3-pointers in 21 minutes) stepped up in a big way, and he may be the next man up if Edwards has to miss time. Minnesota will play two more games in Week 6, beginning with Thursday’s game against the Jazz.
