Isaiah Thomas is expected to be available for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
Thomas inked a 10-day contract with the Suns on Saturday after spending some time with the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. While there is some excitement regarding his return to the NBA, Thomas is unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball.
  • HOU Guard #15

Reed Sheppard, Amen Thompson, Josh Okogie, Jabari Smith Jr. and Alperen Şengün will start Saturday’s Game 1 against the Lakers.
Three of the four best players in this series won’t be available for Game 1, as Kevin Durant has joined the Lakers’ Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves on the sidelines due to a knee contusion. Sheppard returns to the starting lineup, and he’ll shoulder a heavy workload along with Thompson and Şengün as playmakers within the Rockets’ offense.
Highlights: Green pushes Suns to No. 8 seed
Jalen Green dropped 36 points on 14-of-20 shooting to lead the Suns past the Warriors and secure the West's No. 8 seed in the postseason.
  • HOU Forward #7
Kevin Durant (knee) is out for Saturday’s Game 1 against the Lakers.
Initially questionable, Durant will miss Saturday’s series-opener due to a right knee contusion. During his pregame availability, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka said that he hopes this is a one-game issue. With no Durant, Reed Sheppard will move into the starting lineup after coming off the bench the last time that Houston was close to full strength.
  • MIN Forward-Center #30
Julius Randle amassed 16 points (7-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds and two assists in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Nuggets.
While better during the fourth quarter, which allowed Minnesota to make a run before losing by 11, Randle did not offer much production early on. And with Anthony Edwards (knee) not appearing to be at full strength, the Timberwolves can’t afford inconsistent play from their starting power forward. A 31.5 percent shooter from three during the regular season, Randle missed all three of his attempts in Game 1. Simply put, he needs to be better.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert tallied 17 points (8-of-9 FGs, 1-of-5 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Nuggets.
Foul shooting aside, Gobert played well in the series-opening defeat. While Denver’s Nikola Jokić managed to record a triple-double, the Timberwolves’ center’s defensive effort factored into the three-time MVP committing five turnovers. Gobert missed just one shot inside the arc and corralled a team-high 10 rebounds, playing 38 minutes. For the Timberwolves to win this series, they’re going to need consistent contributions from Gobert.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards finished Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Nuggets with 22 points (7-of-19 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and two three-pointers.
Edwards may have led the Timberwolves in scoring in Saturday’s series opener, but he still did not look like his usual explosive self. A 55.4 percent shooter from inside the arc during the regular season, the Timberwolves’ star made half of his attempts in Game 1. That isn’t too big of a drop, but when combined with a 2-of-9 afternoon from three, there are some things for Edwards to clean up. The Timberwolves will look to even the series on Monday night.
  • DEN Forward #32
Aaron Gordon finished Saturday’s Game 1 win over the Timberwolves with 17 points (5-of-10 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer.
Despite early foul trouble, Gordon finished Game 1 with a solid stat line. And his time on the bench during the second quarter factored into the Nuggets taking home the victory. During that period, Denver received notable contributions from Tim Hardaway Jr. (7/3/1/1/1 with one three-pointer) and Bruce Brown (8/7/3/5 with one three-pointer), while Jamal Murray scored eight of his game-high 30 points. Gordon and the Nuggets will look to defend home court in Game 2 on Monday.
  • DEN Center #15
Nikola Jokić recorded 25 points (11-of-19 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 13 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 1 win over the Timberwolves.
Jokić led the NBA in triple-doubles during the regular season, so it’s unsurprising that he got his 2026 playoffs with another. Shooting 9-of-12 from inside the arc, the lone negative for the three-time league MVP was the five turnovers. Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert deserves some credit for the job he did defensively, but no one would be surprised if Jokić produced a more efficient stat line in Game 2 on Monday.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray accounted for 30 points (7-of-22 FGs, 16-of-16 FTs), five rebounds and seven assists in Saturday’s Game 1 win over the Timberwolves.
Murray was ice-cold from beyond the arc in Game 1, missing all eight of his attempts. However, he shot 50 percent from the field and was a frequent visitor to the foul line. The Nuggets guard made all 16 of his attempts at the line, resulting in a 30-point game in Saturday’s series opener. Denver will host Game 2 on Monday at 10:30 PM Eastern on NBA and Peacock.
  • PHX Center #15
Mark Williams (foot) is questionable for Sunday’s Game 1 against the Thunder.
After logging 22 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers, Williams was held out of Friday’s win over the Warriors. Oso Ighodaro played 26 minutes as the starting center, with the Suns going small for extended periods. Given the matchup, there may be more minutes available to Khaman Maluach if Williams remains out.
  • PHX Guard #8
Grayson Allen (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday’s Game 1 against the Thunder.
One week removed from injuring his hamstring during an April 10 loss to the Lakers, Allen did not play in Friday’s win over the Warriors despite being announced as available. Haywood Highsmith played 10 minutes off the bench; he’s likely to be the odd man out if Allen can play on Sunday’s series opener in Oklahoma City.
