The Trail Blazers selected Oso Ighodaro with the No. 40 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Ighodaro improved throughout his four seasons at Marquette, becoming a consistent option during his junior and senior campaigns. The 2023-24 season was his best, with the 6-foot-10 pivot averaging 13.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 blocks in 32.5 minutes. Effective in the two-man game as a screener and playmaker out of the short roll, Ighodaro also shoots the ball reasonably well in the mid-range. Defensively, he was at his best as a rim protector, but there is still work to do regarding his defending on ball screens. This pick has been traded twice, with Portland sending it to New York and the Knicks forwarding it to Phoenix. Joining the Suns may give Oghodaro a better shot at some fantasy relevance as a rookie, as Phoenix needs frontcourt depth. His playmaking ability out of the short roll can be beneficial due to the Suns’ lack of proven point guards.

CJ McCollum (quad), Khris Middleton (knee) and Kyshawn George (hip) are out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Wizards.
Washington is on the second leg of a back-to-back set after beating the Magic on Tuesday. George is still without a timeline for return, and the Wizards will unsurprisingly give their two veterans a maintenance day. With the trio sidelined, more minutes should be available for Tre Johnson, Bub Carrington, Corey Kispert and Justin Champagnie.
Does basketball ever get boring? Andresen says no
Pierre Andresen shares what companies he would like to have brand deals with, outlines how to deal with that friend who does not put in and explains why basketball never gets boring, no matter how many games he watches.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Wizards.
Embiid is poised to play his fifth straight game, which is a welcomed surprise for fantasy managers after the big man logged 40 minutes in Monday’s loss to Denver. Embiid finished with 32/10/2 against the Nuggets, and he’ll look to build on that strong performance when he faces Washington.
  • ATL Guard #11
Trae Young (quad) is out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Pelicans.
Young’s continued absence should mean another start for Nickeil Alexander-Walker and increased playmaking responsibilities for Jalen Johnson.
  • NOP Forward #25
Trey Murphy (back) is questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Hawks.
The Pelicans are playing the second leg of a back-to-back set after a narrow loss to the Lakers on Tuesday. With Herb Jones (ankle) questionable and Saddiq Bey (hip) sidelined, Bryce McGowens and Micah Peavy should see increased run against Atlanta.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham (wrist) has been downgraded to questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Bulls.
Cunningham’s downgraded status suggests he’s in danger of sitting out against Chicago due to a right wrist contusion. His potential absence could mean more playing time for Daniss Jenkins and Marcus Sasser.
  • CHA Forward #24
Brandon Miller (knee) has been downgraded to questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with Toronto.
Miller was listed as probable on Tuesday evening, but he’s now in danger of sitting out against the Raptors. Charlotte is on the first leg of a back-to-back set, and it’s possible the Hornets are giving Miller a maintenance day before facing the Pacers on Thursday. If Miller is out, Sion James and Collin Sexton are candidates to replace him in the starting five.
  • CHA Forward #31
Tidjane Salaün (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday’s matchup with Toronto.
Salaün has been dealing with an ankle injury, but he’s been able to play through it. That will be the case on Wednesday against the Raptors, and he should be expected to handle his usual allotment of minutes off the bench.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray (ankle) and Christian Braun (ankle) have been upgraded to probable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Celtics.
Murray and Braun should be back in action following a one-game absence, which means Jalen Pickett and Bruce Brown should see their minutes reduced against Boston.
  • DEN Forward #32
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (illness management) are probable for Wednesday’s matchup with Boston.
After sitting out Monday’s win over the Sixers, Gordon and Hardaway Jr. are both expected to play. As a result, Spencer Jones and Zeke Nnaji will likely see reduced roles.
  • LAC Guard #1
James Harden (shoulder) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Knicks.
Harden sat out Monday’s win over Golden State, but he’s expected to return following a one-game absence. Harden’s return should push rookie Kobe Sanders back to the bench after a productive spot start.
