Armel Traore has agreed to a two-way deal with the Lakers, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
The 6'8" forward has been playing professionally in France for the last few seasons, and he averaged 10.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.6 steals in 25.5 minutes per game for ADA Blois Basket last year. The 21-year-old has a 7'3" wingspan and was able to make plays in transition often last season. He should be able to adjust the NBA quicker than other prospects due to his professional experience, but fantasy managers shouldn’t be looking at him as anything more than a stash in dynasty. He will likely spend most of the season in the G-League.

AJ Green (illness) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Green did not play in Friday’s loss to the Nuggets, which led to Gary Harris moving into the starting lineup and playing 28 minutes. Harris did not offer much production in that role, so there’s no need to consider streaming him if Green remains out.
Liffmann: DAL 'team to watch' in trade deadline
Grant Liffmann unpacks the current state of the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the NBA trade deadline, explaining why the team and Anthony Davis are among the ones to watch before the deadline hits.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Santi Aldama (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.
Sunday’s game will be the third that Aldama has missed with a sore right knee. Jock Landale started Friday’s loss to the Pelicans and had one of his best games of the season, tallying 24 points and 11 rebounds as part of a complete stat line. He’s worth streaming while Aldama is out.
  • ORL Guard #4
Jalen Suggs, Anthony Black, Desmond Bane, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.
After missing Orlando’s last eight games, Suggs is available and will be in the starting lineup. He isn’t officially under a minutes restriction, but some precautions could be taken with the guard’s playing time. Tristan da Silva will head to the bench, which lowers his fantasy ceiling.
  • CLE Forward-Guard #12
De’Andre Hunter (illness) is out for Saturday’s game against the Magic.
Hunter was a late addition to the Cavaliers’ injury report, and now he’s officially out. Cleveland’s bench rotation takes a hit, but this won’t significantly affect fantasy basketball. Nae’Qwan Tomlin may pick up a few more minutes, but there’s no need to stream him.
  • PHI Guard #77
VJ Edgecombe amassed 14 points (5-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks.
As has been the case on a few occasions this season, Edgecombe got going in the fourth quarter after being quiet for the first three. He shot 3-of-4 from the field in the final frame, helping Philadelphia bounce back from another brutal third quarter. It wasn’t enough to get the 76ers into the winner’s circle, however. Edgecombe’s production has slipped recently, with the rookie ranked outside the top-100 over the past two weeks. However, that’s just as much due to Joel Embiid’s resurgence as it is the rookie’s decreased scoring.
  • PHI Forward-Guard #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. recorded 14 points (5-of-10 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks.
Oubre had another solid performance for the 76ers, once again showing that he can be valuable to category-league managers. Rostered in 27 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the 76ers’ wing has been close to a top-100 player over the past two weeks. With Philadelphia opening Week 15 with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, it’s possible that Oubre is only available for three games.
  • PHI Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey tallied 22 points (8-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks.
Since being limited to 14 points in a January 14 blowout loss to the Cavaliers, Maxey has scored at least 20 points in five consecutive games. He had an efficient afternoon against the Knicks, but the third quarter was once again an issue for Maxey and the 76ers. He shot 1-of-5 from the field in the frame, and Philadelphia was outscored by a 30-13 margin. The 76ers rallied in the fourth, but the deficit was too big to erase.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid accounted for 38 points (13-of-21 FGs, 9-of-12 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists, one block and three three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks.
One game removed from recording his first triple-double of the season, Embiid had another huge day at the office. There was a brief period in which he appeared to be favoring his left leg, but the 76ers’ center played 36 minutes. Embiid has looked more like his usual self, but a day off may be in the cards as Philadelphia opens its four-game Week 15 with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday.
  • NYK Guard #44
Landry Shamet recorded 12 points (4-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
On a day when Mikal Bridges (9/3/4 with one three-pointer) and Miles McBride (9/1/2/2 with one three-pointer) combined to shoot 2-of-17 from beyond the arc, Shamet gave the Knicks excellent minutes off the bench. This is the first time he’s reached double figures in consecutive games since returning from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for 25 games. Shamet isn’t worth rostering when the Knicks are whole, but the last two games were a step in the right direction.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart amassed 10 points (4-of-9 FGs, 1-of-5 FTs), 13 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
While not a prolific scorer, Hart’s ability to fill a stat line makes him highly valuable to category league managers. On Saturday, he recorded his ninth double-double of the season and first since returning from an ankle injury suffered on Christmas Day that sidelined him for eight games. However, Hart has struggled from the foul line, making 38.5 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks.
